Well, I thought they were the same. However when I checked the system where SAMBA is working as expected after the AIX 7.2 upgrade, it is at 14.10.6 Not apples-to-apples after all. The versions of AIX on both systems are the same - AIX 7.2.5.4.2220 Thanks, Phil On Tue, Nov 29, 2022 at 6:49 PM Andrew Bartlett via samba < samba at lists.samba.org> wrote:> What was the old Samba version? > > Andrew, > > On Tue, 2022-11-29 at 18:21 -0500, Philip Cunio via samba wrote: > > Hello Team: > > After an upgrade to AIX 7200-05-04-2220 from 7100-05-05-1939, SAMBA > > 4.14.4now prompts for userid and password from Windows 10 and Windows > > 11 clientsattempting to map a drive.
