Hi, LLVM-Dev, I am one of the developers of llvm-elfabi, which is a tool to emit text and binary stubs for shared objects. The llvm-elfabi shares many similarities and purposes with llvm-ifs. After talking with llvm-ifs developers, we think it's better to merge these tools to avoid reinvesting efforts on 2 tools with the similar functionalities. I drafted a proposal ( https://gist.github.com/zeroomega/dd3ad98f60a8e601091974d139b85790) to merge these 2 tools together. Thanks in advance for any comments. -- Haowei -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [llvm-dev] [RFC] llvm-elfabi/ifs merge plan
Hi Haowei This is a nice merge plan. I'd be happy to start reviewing patches. The only thing I saw possibly missing from the draft proposal was the field for 'ObjectFormat: ELF/PECOFF/TBD' (which for now should be unused?). Do we still want to do that? -Puyan On Wed, Mar 17, 2021 at 6:05 PM Haowei Wu via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote:> Hi, LLVM-Dev, > > I am one of the developers of llvm-elfabi, which is a tool to emit text > and binary stubs for shared objects.
