Suddenly the MMC snap-in "Active Directory Users and Groups" stopped working. Attempting to access it fails with The directory schema is not accessible because: An invalid directory pathname was passed. For this reason, the New menu may be inaccurate, and extension snap-ins may not work properly. - followed by - Data from Active Directory Users and Computers is not available from Domain Controller (null) because: Unspecified error Try again late, or choose another DC by selecting Connect to Domain Controller on the Domain context menu. I am using samba 4.4.5. There are no logs found regarding to this. Hi, No, I have nothing install or update anything on the server. I want to fixed it first. I also not able to see the domain users using samba-tool user list. I can see it using pdbedit -L. You really should upgrade, Samba 4.4.5 is EOL as far as Samba is concerned, if it is a Samba problem, it may have been fixed in a later version. Rowland
