samba - Apr 2016 - Best Pratice for installing samba package in production environment

Is it recommended to install the tarball or archive version of samba4 in
production ?

Or what will be please the best pratices ?

Which distribution do you use?

Do you talk about a first installation or about an update?

Changing from 3.x to 4.2 or newer: seems to be no problem.

Thank you for your  mail.

The distribution is Debian linux 7.9.

I am talking of a  fresh installation, and of course of it's update after.
