Hi list. I'm using OpenVPN to rsync a bunch of hosts each night and it works great on all but two of them which gives: Error in rsync protocol datastream on sync of <hostname> allmost every night. One of them is on a narrow line, so I could believe it was that causing it, but the other is on a 4Mb SDSL and should have the best connection of them all... What can cause this error, how

ZFS send | verify | receive
If there were a ?zfs send? datastream saved someplace, is there a way to verify the integrity of that datastream without doing a ?zfs receive? and occupying all that disk space? I am aware that ?zfs send? is not a backup solution, due to vulnerability of even a single bit error, and lack of granularity, and other reasons. However ... There is an attraction to ?zfs send? as an augmentation to the

Profile updates using profile_main
Hi all! I just updated to the most recent version of Facebooker from Github and have been playing around with getting our FB app working with the new Facebook design at www.new.facebook.com (using the "api: new" option in the facebooker.yml file). As far as I can tell, everything seems to be working as expected so far except I can''t seem to get our apps profile box to

PMML for Cox Regression
Hi, We have created a cox regression model (coxph) and exported from R as PMML using the Rattle package. The resulting PMML is a standard Regression model in the format y=b1*x1+b2*x2+??.bn*xn: risk= (0.027968680616809*dropped_Calls)+(0.00777220409115466*helpdesk_Calls) The PMML is included at the end of this post. Cox Regression is usually in this format: h(t)= h0(t)*e^(b1*x1+b2*x2+??.bn*xn)

read xml
Hi I am trying to read selected fields from a xml file with R using xml package. So far I have learned the basics of this package by going through the manual, examples, tutorial, and so on (www.omegahat.org/RSXML) . The problem is that I am getting stuck when it comes down to more complex xml files. I am a novice in R and xml, and was wondering if someone could help me out with here.

What to do when speex_jitter_get(...) has no buffer to return
[The following is perhaps a long question and even off-speex topic,] [but if anyone can at least point me in the right direction for ] [alternate sources of information, I'd really appreciate it. ] When speex_jitter_get(...) is called and there is no buffer/data to return, would I not want to know that there is no true data to play? If I turn around and queue 20ms of silence to play
