I do not have a bison.simple file located on Fedora RC2...
But when make'ing PWLIB I get

Is it safe to continue or is this a bad build?

Splus equivalent of reshape in R
Hello R/Splus users..
I am posting in R discussion group in hope of wider response compared to
what I received from Splus user groups....
Was wondering if there is any function available in Splus 8.2 that is
equivalent to "reshape" of R?
Below is a sample dataset. Size [both rows and columns) of the dataset may
vary
X1 Y1 Y2 Y3

getdate_column
Plugin location:
http://svn.kylemaxwell.com/getdate_column/
** Won''t work on Windows **
OVERVIEW
===================
Getdate_column is designed to make the accessor methods of a datetime
column accept and return string representations of the date (e.g.
"today", "10 days from now", "1/2/06 10pm"). I personally find date
controls on the web to be clumsy,

Inner SELECT-s in Rails
Is there a proper way of doing inner selects in rails.
Basically, I run in issues where I need the count of a query and end up
using find_by_sql. I was wondering if there was any elegant way of doing
such queries.

db_schema_dump for SQL Server
We''re using migrations to manage a SQL Server project and have been running
into a number of issues with db_schema_dump/migrations. Can anyone confirm
that these are actual issues with the SQL Server adapter and not issues with
me :)

false). I''m wondering if we need to update the def columns method

Thanks so much,

Check for is.object
Hello,
I am trying to recursively append some data from multiple files into a
common object
For this, I am using in a loop
NewObject <- rbind(NewObject,tempObject)
For the first loop, obviously there is no NewObject ... so I wanted to do
NewObject <- tempObject[0,]
Now when it loops again I want to put the statement do "NewObject <-
tempObject[0,]" inside a if statement

Flexible rbind

I am trying to create a empty structure that I want to fill gradually
through the code.
I want to use something like rbind to create the basic structure first.
I am looking for a possibility to do an rbind where the columns names
dont match fully (but the missing columns can be defaulted to either
zero or n/a) (my actual data has a lot of columns).

removing specific rows from array
I'm attempting to create an array of treatment comparisons for modelling data generation. This involves comparison of one treatment (c2) with another (c3), relative to a common comparator (c1).
Attached code gives me the correct array but need to remove duplicates. Duplicates relate only to c2 and c3
such that I need to remove
r3 because c2 and c3 are same as r1 with c2 and c3 swapped
