dyn.load() function problem help!
Hi! I would like to call a Fortran subroutine within R. For doing this, I first built a shared library for loading into R under Unix and it was successful. But when I tried to load a shared library using dyn.load() function for use in .Fortran(), I got an error message. The command I input below in R is: >dyn.load("aaa.so") The reslut is: error in

SVM Prediction and Plot
Hi I'm trying to predict using a model I fitted with SVM. I constructed the model (called Svm) using a training set, and now I want to use a test set (called BankTest) for prediction. The response variable is in the first column of BankTest. > SvmPred = predict(Svm, BankTest[,-1], probability=TRUE) > SvmPredRes = table(Pred = SvmPred, True = BankTest[,1]) I get this error: Error in

[LLVMdev] gp/GOT
Regarding MIPS PIC code: Currently the MIPS compiler loads gp at the beginning of a function even if it never needs it. Similarly it reloads gp after function calls even if it is never used again. I need to check if in the function there are any variable references using the GOT. Is there any magic function or variable that will tell me this answer beyond just me going through all the IR for

Dynamics GP 10
wine version 1.3.21 Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit I'm trying to get Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 to run under wine. So far I have installed (with winetricks) .Net 2.0 & SP2 MDAC 2.8 vcrun 2005 (I had to get the latest version of winetricks using SVN to get this to work) The application starts to launch, and the login window is drawn, and then the login window closes. The Dexterity runtime

WD RE4-GP Dropped From Raid
Hi All, I have a WD RE4-GP which dropped an Adaptec 51645 RAID controller. I ran a smartctl short test on the drive and it failed with a read error. So I ran the Western Digital's own diagnostic software (DLGDIAG), both the short and extended test on the drive and it passed with no errors. So I ran the smartctl short test again and again it failed. I then ran smartctl long test and that

Difficulty importing data from PARI/GP
I'm trying to import a matrix created in PARI/GP into R but am having problems. The data in the text file has entries separated by commas but the rows themselves are separated by semicolons rathen than being on a new line. Is there a way to get R to recognise that ";" means start a new row ? -- View this message in context:

pari/gp interface
Hi I'm developing an R package that needs to execute some code written in pari/gp. I've used this before from an R package (elliptic) but the interface is very basic: the R function creates a string such as the following: string <- echo ' ellwp ([ 2+0*I , 0+2*I ], 1+0*I )' | gp -q And then system(string) returns the output from gp which then needs to be text processed

[PATCH] x86-64: drop updating of UREGS_rip when converting sysenter to #GP
This was set to zero immediately before the #GP injection code, since SYSENTER doesn''t really have a return address. Reported-by: Ian Campbell <Ian.Campbell@citrix.com> Furthermore, UREGS_cs and UREGS_rip don''t need to be written a second time, as the PUSHes above already can/do take care of putting in place the intended values. [LLVMdev] MIPS & GP register
Hi LLVM MIPS people, I've been trying to keep track of the MIPS backend in order to eventually switch to clang/llvm from GCC for building our camera software. We've been using a build at revision 156432 for some time with no problems. I synced up to TOT clang/llvm today (revision 162004) to see if any optimizations had been improved, etc. The build I made with it started crashing

GP exception on vmxon
Hello, I tried to write a piece of code to start vmx. This code is directly interacting with cpu instead of with virtual cpu as in xen. But every time I call vmxon, a GP exception happens. Could anybody help me on this? The following is the context 1. After booting up to the program, I disable A20M. 2. allocate a 4kb-aligned vmxon region and calculate its physical address. 3. setup

CyberPower Value 2200E-GP
I've just set up a CyberPower Value 2200E-GP on a system running Lucid AMD64, with the current NUT package via apt-get, and it seems to be working fine for me with the usbhid-ups driver, so I guess it can go in the HCL? I'm using the system to host several virtual servers under KVM, and to make things simple I set it up to hibernate rather than shutdown, that way all the guest OS
