Agnes in Cluster Package and index.G1 in the clusterSim package questions
Dear R Users: I am new to R and I am trying to do a cluster analysis on a single continuous variable using the Agnes [Agglomerative Nesting (Hierarchical Clustering) ] in the Package ‘cluster’. I was able to apply this clustering method to my data: ward1 <- Agnes(balances, diss= FALSE, metric = "euclidean", stand = TRUE, method = "ward", keep.diss =TRUE, keep.data =

want to count 2 NULLS as disimilar with DIANA/DAISY/GOWER
I am using DIANA/DAISY/GOWER. Some of my categorical data include NULLS. When assessing disimilarity, these NULLS are considered similar. I do not want these NULLS to contribute towards similarity. Instead is there a way for these NULLS to each be considered different so as to contribute to disimiliarity and not simillarity? Also, I do not want to change these NULLS in the data as I need them for

Problem with SAGx Library
Dear All: I am a newbie to R and as such i am posting this request for help. I am trying to use R to compute the "Calinski Harabasz (CH) Index ". The CH Index is available in the library SAGx. The version of R i am running is 2.2.1. I have my data in a CSV format which i read into R using the read.table() command. After the data has been read i am loading in the "SAGx"

Hi Martin, In using the Cluster Package, I have results for PAM and DIANA clustering algorithms (below "part" and "hier" objects): part <- pam(trout, bestk) # PAM results hier <- diana(trout) # DIANA results GeneNames <- show(RG$genes) # Gene Names are in this object But

plotting hclust dendrograms
Hallo everybody, I have a question concerning plotting of hclust dendrograms. I created several of those dendrograms and like to plot them in different plots. I'd like to have all plots with the same scaling of the y axis so that they become comparable by eye. That means they should all start at y=0 and end up with a certain given value, e.g. y=8. I tried the following: plot(

Determine restricted variable in SVAR and SVEC?
How to determine restricted variable in SVAR and SVEC? There are some values which set to be zero and others set to be NA.. How to determine values that set to be 0? Clustering and Calinski's index
I have to solve a clustering problem. My first step is to determinate the number of clusters, that's why I 'm using the Calinski index ( [tr(b)/(k-1)]/[tr(w)/(k-1)] ) which i try to maximize to have the best number of clusters. A function is already implemented in R to calculate this index : clustIndex(cl,x, index="calinski") where cl is the result of a clustering method ,

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Hi Quentin, I actually did a run with -mllvm -optimize-regalloc -mllvm -regalloc=greedy over the weekend and the test does pass with that. Haven't measured the compile time though. Indeed. @Quentin, what is the status of that patch? Have you been working on it since then? Should I investigate the segfault more and send you a reproducer?

Great! I expect I'll be able to cut it down further once I start fusing these smaller state-machines together. Before that, I'll re-order the patches that went into that diff so that I don't have to re-commit the regression before fixing it. > On 31 May 2017, at 13:48, Diana Picus <diana.picus at linaro.org> wrote: > > Hi, > > This runs in: > real

Turns out it really is a GlobalISel issue - we eat up too much stack space because all the constants used in the switches are stored on the stack. We need to fix this somehow before changing the default. I'll try to give it a run with Quentin's r299283 on top to see if it helps. Hi Diana and Vitaly, Could you give https://reviews.llvm.org/differential/diff/100829/ <https://reviews.llvm.org/differential/diff/100829/> a try? When measuring the compile of AArch64InstructionSelector.cpp.o with asan enabled and running under instruments's Allocation profiler, my machine reports that the cumulative memory allocations is down to ~3.5GB (was ~10GB), the number of
