programming question
hie i'm tryimg to generate two survival data using the following code (I know its ugly ) but it seems to repeat two of the variables can any one tell me whats the porblem. n=20 n1=n/2 n2=n/4 a11=1 ;a12=1.4 ;a21=16 ;a22=a12 * a21 t1<-array(1,c(n1)) t2<-array(2,c(n1)) treatgrp=matrix(c(t1,t2))

help in simplyfiying programme
my program given below can some one make it presentable. I trying to simulate survival data and calculate the power. I think i could have done better. s=10 number=0 count1=0;count2=0;count3=0;count4=0;count5=0;count6=0;count7=0;count8=0; count9=0; count11=0;count22=0;count33=0;count44=0;count55=0;count66=0;count77=0; count88=0;count99=0; while(s!=0){ n=100 n1=n/2 n2=n/4

Dear R- User,   I have a dataset that looks like the following:   jh<-data.frame(  'id'=seq(1,10,1),   'time0'=c(8,5,8,8,9,NA,NA,2,4,5),   'time4'=c(NA,NA,9,8,NA,2,3,2,4,5),  'time8'=c(NA,2,8,NA,5,NA,2,3,NA,4),  'time12'=c(NA,2,NA,NA,NA,3,3,2,3,NA),

random effects model
Hi A.K Regarding my question on comparing normal/ obese/overweight with blood pressure change, I did finally as per the first suggestion of stacking the data and creating a normal category . This only gives me a obese not obese 14, but when I did with the wide format hoping to get a obese14,normal14,overweight 14 Vs hibp 21, i could not complete any of the models. This time I classified obese=1
