heplot3d / rgl : example causes R GUI to crash

Colin, If your propose is to create a ternary plot with points and vectors, I think easier do this with graphics based plots instead of trellis based plots. Plotting contour & filled.contour in one graph
Dear All, I have a question on overlaying a filled.contour (e.g. on soil properties data) and contour (by elevation) in one graph. Both have the same z matrix dimension. I'm able to overlay both graph, but the plots dimension did not overlap well on the same plots. How can I have both filled.contour and contour on the same graph? Adding 95% contours around scatterplot points with ggplot2
Hi all, I have been looking for means of add a contour around some points in a scatterplot as a means of representing the center of density for of the data. I'm imagining something like a 95% confidence estimate drawn around the data. So far I have found some code for drawing polygons around the data. These look nice, but in some cases the polygons are strongly influenced by outlying points.
