A question about stepwise procedures: step function

cannot load package "splines"

loading of an unwanted namespace

How can I avoid the warning messages when calling DAAG package?

Mysterious behavior
I had trouble with some tests for the survival suite last night that I cannot explain. Framework: Ubuntu Linux, R2.11. For testing survival I have a separate directory and Makefile. Make natural splines constant outside boundary
Hi, I'm using natural cubic splines from splines::ns() in survival regression (regressing inter-arrival times of patients to a queue on queue size). The queue size fluctuates between 3600 and 3900. How to extract se(coef) from cph?
Hello, I am modeling some survival data wih cph (Design). I have modeled a predictor which showed non linear effect with restricted cubic splines.
