Replacing real inbox by virtual inbox
Hello, I'm using dovecot 1.2.11 with virtual folders. I'd like to replace my real INBOX by a virtual one but I have several questions : * will my mail still be delivered to my real INBOX? * will I be able to access my real INBOX, for example using a virtual folder reliyng on INBOX * and, how to do it. Here's my problem, if I look to the wiki page [1], I don't really

Vuong test
Dear All, I am using the function vuong from pscl package to compare 2 non nested models NB1 (negative binomial I ) and Zero-inflated model. NB1 <-  glm(, , family = quasipoisson), it is an object of class: "glm" "lm" zinb <- zeroinfl( dist = "negbin") is an object of class: "zeroinfl"   when applying vuong function I get the following: vuong(NB1,

problems perfroming the vuong test
Dear All, I am using the function vuong of the package pscl to compare 2 non nested glm models with a numeric response. I did the following m1<-glm(y ~x ,data=xxx) m2<-glm(y ~z , data=xxx) When calling the vuong function I get the following message: > vuong(m1,m2) Error in predprob.glm(m1) : your object of class glm is unsupported by predprob.glmyour object of class lm is unsupported

Error Message Comes from the Vuong Function
I want to compare the poisson and the zero-inflated poisson distribution on describing the data. So, after using the GLM and the ZEROINFL function, I used the Voung function to compare them. Here is my code: library(pscl) glm1 <- glm(nmer9_1[, 1] ~ 1, family = poisson) zip <- zeroinfl(nmer9_1[, 1] ~ 1) vuong(glm1, zip) However, R returns the following error message: "Error: cannot

All messages in double in a virtual mailbox.
Hello, I've got some virtual maiboxes that are configured as follows : !RealMail.Sent RealMail.Sent all In all those mailboxes, all the messages appears in double. I don't think it's the expected behaviour, but I perhaps missed something. Here's my dovecot -n : # 1.2.15: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.32-bpo.5-amd64 x86_64 Debian 5.0.7 log_timestamp:

Virtual mailboxes and subfolders
Hello again, I'd like to know if there is a way to have subfolders in virtual mailbox? In my virtual namespaces, I have some virtual maiboxes named like this : Mailbox Mailbox.SubMailbox (the separator is '.') But when I try to access the submailbox, depending on my client, it either : - Tells me the mailbox doesn't exists (Roundcube) - Don't show me

Poisson Regression: questions about tests of assumptions
I would like to test in R what regression fits my data best. My dependent variable is a count, and has a lot of zeros. And I would need some help to determine what model and family to use (poisson or quasipoisson, or zero-inflated poisson regression), and how to test the assumptions. 1) Poisson Regression: as far as I understand, the strong assumption is that dependent variable mean = variance.

ylim in barplot()
Dear useRs, I'm having troubles with using ylim in barplot(): even though I reduce the y-scale using ylim, the bars still extend down to 0into the x-labels. The sample data is below, and here is the code. #This works fine but I would like to plot only from 50 to 70: barplot(t(mydata), beside=TRUE, col=c("orange", "green", "yellow", "purple"),

ylim in barplot()
Thank you David, That's a nice workaround using plotrix::barp(), but that doesn't explain why ylim doesn't work as intended (or at least, as I expect it to work), or why xpd has no influence when using devEMF::emf()... The problem with saving directly in RStudio is that it requires to manually save the plot, and this becomes troublesome when there are a lot of plot commands in a

ylim in barplot()
If you are using a Windows system, you can Export the plot from RStudio and save it as a metafile without using package devEMF and it will crop the bars with xpd=FALSE. When I used devEMF on a Windows machine, the bars were not cropped with barplot() as you indicated, but when I switched to plotrix::barp() they were cropped. The arguments are a bit different, but I did not need xpd=FALSE:

Hello, I would like to remove some files which have the extension .test for example (data1.test, data2.test ....). Is there another solution to remove them instead of doing it one by one ? Voung test implementation in R
Dear All, I would like to know if the Voung test (Voung; Econometrica, 1989) to compare two non-nested regression models has been implemented in R. Thanks in advance for your assistance, mirko [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

clusters in zero-inflated negative binomial models
Dear all, I want to build a model in R based on animal collection data, that look like the following Nr Village District Site Survey Species Count 1 AX A F Dry B 0 2 AY A V Wet A 5 3 BX B F Wet B 1 4 BY B V Dry B 0 Each data point shows one collection unit in a certain Village, District, Site, and Survey for a certain Species. 'Count' is the number of animals collected in that

Suerte. Likelihood ratio test for comparing non-nested cox models
Dear All, I fitted two non-nested proportional hazards models using the coxph() function from package survival. Now, I would like to apply a model selection test like, e.g., the likelihood ratio test proposed by Vuong. I found an implementation of Vuong's test in the package 'pscl', but that does not work for cox models. Is there any package available that provides an

cauculating dissimilarities in R
Dear All, I?ve got a statistical question on calculating dissimilarities in R. I want to calculate the different types of dissimilarities on the ?flower? dataset found in the package ?cluster?. Flower is a data frame with 18 observations on 8 variables. Variable 1 and 2 are binary, variable 3 is asymmetric binary, variable 4 is nominal, variable 5 and 6 are ordered and variable 7 and 8 are

ANOVA in quantreg - faulty test for 'nesting'?
I am trying to implement an ANOVA on a pair of quantile regression models in R. The anova.rq() function performs a basic check to see whether the models are nested, but I think this check is failing in my case. I think my models are nested despite the anova.rqlist() function saying otherwise. Here is an example where the GLM ANOVA regards the models as nested, but the quantile regression ANOVA
