your Rgui.
I have a program that works well in Rgui but that does not work in a batch

plot error -- figure margins too large
Hi,
I am trying to plot my dataset, consisting of one column with numeric values and one column with group IDs.
The set is similar to the following df.
df <- NULL
for ( i in 1:20)
{
tmp1 <- runif(1000,0,5)
tmp2 <- cbind(tmp1,i)
df <- rbind(df,tmp2)
}
Now I would like to plot the numeric column, stratified by the group IDs, in a single figure.
First, I partitioned the frame

Can anyone give me some hint/suggestion for unzipping a file in R? The

understand.
For example, the name of my zip file is "refGene.txt.gz", which is
located in "C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\test1". I would like to
unzip this file to the same directory.

Drawing lines in margins
Hi all,
Quick question: What function can I use to draw a line in the margin of a plot? segments() and lines() both stop at the margin.
In case the answer depends on exactly what I'm trying to do, see below. I'm using R v. 2.8.1 on Windows XP.
Cheers,

EOF error reading csv file
Hi,
I am confronted with this error while trying to read csv file into R session.
Though it is warning message, I noticed that the whole file was not read properly.
After having gone through the whole file, unable to identify error in file. I am copying the last 2 rows in original csv file after which the reading was not proper. (cannot enclose file because of big size)
