Dear Lockwood,
As you can see, I'm a beginner...
But thank you very much!

aggregate() nlevels()
Dear all,
I try to calculate the number of occurring levels, per ObjektID, of
cpy.busk$TradArt,
but this line returns the TOTAL number of levels occurring in
cpy.busk$TradArt for each ObjektID.
This was difficult to say in English! Did you get it?
Is there any function for doing what I want. I have tried searching the
archives without success.
buskartant<- aggregate(list(buskartant =

aggregate: "sum" not meaningful for factors
Dear all,
I try to summarise my data per category using aggregate, but for some
reason I get the error message "sum" not meaningful for factors even though
my vector is numeric. The data set is shown below.
Could someone please give a hint.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Tord

simplify a data frame
Dear all,
For the past three hours I have tried simplify a data frame. I would be
really happy if someone could help solving this, I'm sure simple, problem.
I want to "aggregate" the data frame:

replace NA with factor class
Dear all,
I have a tree data matrix. For some trees I lack info about tree species,
but I want to set them to be spruce. For some reason the tree species names
on the remaining (non-NA) rows are changed into numbers (that I do not
recognise).
I guess that ifelse is not the correct function to use, but I have not
found any better one in my searches.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,

Varios gráficos en una vista en OpenAir
Hola Carlos,
Me parece que timePlot genera los gráficos en un formato diferente.
Al ejecutar grid.arrange genera el siguiente error:
Error in gList(list(list(plot = list(formula = value ~ date | default, :
only 'grobs' allowed in "gList"
Gracias.

if problem in function
Dear all,
I have written a function for calculating the volume of a tree (=trad) or
snag (=h?gst).
The included volume regreesion model includes ten parameter values, which
are tree species specific.
bj?rk.formh?jd.pars is an object which includes the parameter values
(parameter set) for birch (=bj?rk).
There is one row per tree in the data object.

using grib files in R
I am not new to R, but I am new to .grib files. I am downloading some
climate data and I would like to analyze it in R. R has a nice netcdf
package, but I don?t see any package available to deal specifically
with grib files. I see a few posts from other people using grib files
in R. However, I was unclear if they used grib files in a different
software program and then imported the data

(no subject)
Good morning,
I wrote a little code in R which has to show two graphs but I can get
only one. How can I adress the graphs in two files?
Second, I'd like, always in the same code, to add a legend to a graph.
Better, I'd like to put in such a legend a new item whose color
could remind the colour ol the columns it refers to in the plot. I wrote:

How to open grib file in R?
I have this https://echange-fichiers.inra.fr/get?k=6TdTdezNeZwAqJtpwVm
grib file which is a regular lat-lon 0.25x0.25 degrees and contains 4 fields

I tried to open it using :

[PATCH v3 00/41] arch: barrier cleanup + barriers for virt
Changes since v2:
- extended checkpatch tests for barriers, and added patches
teaching it to warn about incorrect usage of barriers
(__smp_xxx barriers are for use by asm-generic code only),
should help prevent misuse by arch code
to address comments by Russell King
- patched more instances of xen to use virt_ barriers
as suggested by Stefano Stabellini
- implemented a 2 byte xchg on sh

[LLVMdev] Possible fix for Bug 1388 - CPY instruction emitted on < ARMv6T
Hi Gordon,
You're talking about Thumb mode code here, right? As I understand it, the ARM mode MOV instruction is valid for everything ARMv4 and up. (nit picky side note: CPY is an obsolete mnemonic as of the introduction of unified syntax)
Assuming so, using a high register causes headaches, as R8+ are call preserved registers, and the Thumb push/pop instructions can't reference them.
