HI All, I am trying to analyse the results of a heap of samples, to determine how many samples are required to meet a defined confidence interval. I checked out the R manual for bootstrapping and re-sampling methods, but did not find anything. Hi R Gurus, I am more or less a beginner with R. I have searched your FAQ, manuals, and the archives of this list for an answer to this question, unsuccessfully. I commonly do analysis of chemical characteristics of soils, by depth intervals (e.g. 0-100 mm, 100-200, 200-300, etc), comparing two soil profiles that have received some treatment (effluent). In Genstat I can handle this problem

Hello, I'm trying to run SBT Pro 5.0 (VFP 5 app) via Wine, but it's been a while. I have to add 4 windows DLL's to get it to this point, but during startup I get a Window that says: "Font: MS Sans Serif not found" This is a VFP application error box. It it not a Windows error, and it is not a Visual Foxpro error. It appears the app itself is doing some sort of check.

Hello, I have seen instructions on how to embed Latex Computer Modern fonts into R, but these are the default serif fonts. I am trying to embed the default font used for Latex beamer (theme Warsaw), which is a sans serif font and may be the default LateX Computer Modern sans serif font. I've been struggling to get Firefox to render text in a sans-serif font. So far, I've only been able to do that by setting the default font as sans-serif. DejaVu Sans Mono and DajaVu Sans are the only other listed fonts that I'm reasonalbly sure are sans-serif. Helvetica and Arial are not there. sans-serif does work on Konqueror. Hi R Gurus, I want to change the size and shape of the plot region, but cannot work out how to use the arguments pin and fin in the par() function e.g. : par(lwd=1.5, font=1, mfrow=c(2,1), pty="m", plt=c(.1,.9, 0.1,.9), mar=c(1,4,0.1,0.1) pin=c(6,12)) this gives me a syntax error associated with pin. Hi folks I'm very new to Wine and have just migrated from WinXP to freespire Linux 2.0.8 I have Wine on my system and have downloaded Serif Webplus SE which is now on my desktop. I was wondering if serif webplus (X5) is going to be worked on in the near future.. All the other windows programs that i need run flawlessly under wine, this one is the only thing that is keeping me from switching fully to Linux.
