I thought you were saying it matters - as it should be done around the
same time as cpufreq drivers were loaded?

Thanks at all!

Powernow-k8 support?
Hi,
I recently installed Xen on my AMD64 for my first time and so far,
everything seems to work pretty fine. :-)
I tried to enable cpu frequency support.
After booting, I get the following message in Dom0-dmesg:
powernow-k8: Found 1 AMD Athlon 64 / Opteron processors (version 1.60.0)
powernow-k8: BIOS error - no PSB or ACPI _PSS objects
I tried to find answers in the mailing-list archive and

Powernow-k8 support
Hi,
I recently subscribed to xen-users asking about a powernow-k8 problem,
but in the meantime I am not sure if the users-list was the right place
for it. So I decided to repeat my question here ;-)
My current config is attached.

xen kernel and cpufreq support
It seems like Debian's Linux AMD64 xen kernel does not have cpufreq
support (at least powernow_k8 cannot be found). According to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=156893 there exists
cpufreq support in xen now. Could this be enabled in Debian's kernel?

Oops with Nouveau on amd64 with nv15 card and kernel 2.6.22 (debian sid)
Hello,
I've build drm and nouveau from git and got this error while starting

Another thing is that before the install instructions on the wiki worked
I had to install xorg-dev. This was the error I got before installing
xorg-dev:

./configure: line 20257: `XORG_DRIVER_CHECK_EXT(RANDR, randrproto)'

[RFC PATCH] Exporting ACPI Pxx/Cxx states to other kernel subsystems (v1).
Hello,
The following patches are a solution to a problem we have encountered
when using the Xen hypervisor:
- Need Pxx/Cxx states to save on power consumption when using Xen (we
do want those datacenters to consume less power!),
- Also need to figure out the Turbo mode so that the scheduler can properly
boost a core for CPU bound guests.
In essence the Xen hypervisor requires that

Hello,
I was running Xen for a few years and after a PSU failure I never got
the system working stable again.
I suspected damage to the board so I replaced everything in the system
piece by piece but Xen enabled kernel always crashes even with only Dom0
running when moderate amount of IO happens on the box.

Failing Network card
Everyone,
Most of the time I am over my head in trying to troubleshoot problems.
However, after reading manuals, man pages, and getting advice from this
list I have been able to work my way through difficulties, and at the
end, I usually have a better understanding of what 'is going on'. I can
only hope this method will work on this problem too.
I have been chasing a problem with a
