Hi there, I have rails 2.0.2 installed on my development server and that is where I created this app. I froze the app to 2.0.2 knowing that my host server uses 2.2.2 and that version breaks my application. But when I upload my app to its test bed on the host server I get this error: # ruby dispatch.cgi ./../config/../vendor/rails/railties/lib/initializer.rb:49:in `send'': undefined

db:migrate fails after upgrade to Rails 2.3.5
Hi -- I''m upgrading an app from Rails 2.0.2 to 2.3.5 in development on a Mac OS/X Leopard. I unfroze the old Rails files, froze the 2.3.5 gem on the machine into the app, and some quick tests of the app showed no problems. However, after trying to run rake db:migrate, it fails silently. Run with trace I get the output below. I gather it might be related to plugin initialization or

Switch...err Capistrano hangs
I''m having a little bit of difficulty deploying my app. I''ve run the setup and it works with Cap, but when I try to deploy it hangs at "querying latest revision". I can access my svn locally (I''m on a windows xp sp2 machine) using SubClipse plugin, but not through the command line though (yes, svn client is installed). I''m pretty sure that

I recently post on my blog about setting up a Rails environment with RSpec in Windows, and someone left a comment saying that it doesn''t work in EdgeRails. I so I played around with it a bit and was able to confirm that none RSpec appears broken on EdgeRails. I''ll post the various error messages I received below. I''m not expecting any sort of patch or something for this

The 2.3 branch and Rails Edge failing
I found Brandon''s 2.3 branch for Facebooker and thought I''d give that a try to get around the problems I ran into starting script/server with Rails Edge. Unfortunately, no go. Error while initializng temporary session directories in edge
I''m encountering an odd error when starting up apps running Edge on my production server (or in the console). The same app works fine in deployment mode on a different machine. Note, this seems to be only a problem with edge, as i run several apps under 1.2.1 on the same server and do not have any problems. Here is the full stack-trace:
