KMS/ drm2 i915 spamming sysctl
Are there any plans to stop hw.dri.0.info.i915_ringbuffer_data from spamming sysctl? You know, that you can actually use 'sysctl -a'. Since some time, there is no longer /var/log/messages spam for which I'm grateful. -- View this message in context: http://freebsd.1045724.n5.nabble.com/KMS-drm2-i915-spamming-sysctl-tp5765505.html Sent from the freebsd-stable mailing list archive

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: Do not leak client objects
From: Thierry Reding <treding at nvidia.com> The memory allocated for a nouveau_cli object in nouveau_cli_create() is never freed. Free the memory in nouveau_cli_destroy() to plug this leak. kmemleak recorded this after running a couple of nouveau test programs. Note that kmemleak points at drm_open_helper() because for some reason it thinks that skipping the first two stack frames is a

RESEND [Xen-unstable][Qemu-xen] HVM Guest reading of Expansion ROM from passthroughed PCI device returns data from emulated VGA rom
*RESEND* due to exceeding the mailinglists limit for attachment size. Hi, I''m trying to get secondary vga-passthrough on a HVM guest to work with a AMD HD6570 and the native kernel radeon driver and kernel modesetting. So the guest still gets the emulated stdvga or cirrus device(used in my case here) as primary/boot vga adapter. - When i don''t passthrough the radeon card, the

Hi, I tried applying http://people.freebsd.org/~anholt/dri/files/drm-stable-20030411.diff to stable from today (using device radeondrm and options DRM_LINUX). 7.2-PRE amd64 panic when starting Xorg
Hi, I've installed 7.2-PRERELEASE, csup on 20090423 at around 19:00 UTC. When I rebooted after installing world, X started (xdm in /etc/ttys) and immediately panicked the system, even before switching to the new VTY. I removed all ports and installed Xorg from today's ports HEAD, same result. This is the case with my old xorg.conf and a new one from 'Xorg -configure'. I

Running Asterisk on a Dell PowerEdge 2850 ServerRe: Dell Hardware
It's Digium, not Dell. I have two identical Dell 1850s, each with the allegedly offensive built-in E100 Ethernet ports. I placed a TE410P card in each. One worked great, the other would not modprobe. Upon examination, we discovered that the two TE410P cards had different firmware revisions. Turns out the one with the older version was the one that worked. We sent the second card back

TDM400P Problems
Hi, I have just started to setup and configure my asterisk box and am having trouble with it. I have a dlink nic in the box as well as the digium card. When the nic is in there by itself it works, but when I put the tdm400p in, there seems to be some sort of conflict with the network card. The tdm appears as another type of network card, which I don't think it should, should it? It shows

xen2.0 stable periodic machine freeze
Hello, I have a Dell PowerEdge 2850 that periodically (6 times in the last 24 hours) freezes, requiring a power cycle in order to come back. The machine is running a Xen 2.0 stable source install. Here is the appropriate Grub entry: title Xen 2.0 / XenLinux 2.6 kernel /boot/xen-2.0.gz dom0_mem=131072 module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6-xen0 root=/dev/sda1 ro console=tty0 Dom0 boots happily, and new

DTMF tone crashes server (Asterisk 1.4.18 with Digium TE120P)
Hi, I've been playing with a TE120P on Asterisk 1.4.18 with zaptel 1.4.9 and I've ran into an issue. After a call placed any DTMF tone causes the server to lock up entirely. Calls placed work just fine (except for a problem with echo cancellation). The phone registered to the server is a Linksys SPA-942. I am seeing in zttool some IRQ misses, but it never seems to go above 74 (below).

[non glx_ftp method support in compiz]
I'm currently using r300_dri driver (R9600 card). Compiz use glx_ftp and AIGLX(7.2RC2) unstable with it, it's result in system hardlock very often. Just trued veryl with --use-copy option, and it's very stable for me now. So nonftp method support in compiz would be very desirable. Good luck.

[PATCH 00/37] [RFC] revamped modeset locking
Hi all, First thing first: It works, I now no longer have a few dropped frames every 10s on my testbox here with the pageflip i-g-t tests. Random notes: - New design has per-crtc locks to protect the crtc input-side (pageflip, cursor) for r/w and the output state of the crtc (mode, dpms) as read-only. It also required completely revamped fb lifecycle management, those are now refcounted
