homogenity inside groups
Dear all I would like to show my audience that some variables are homogenous inside groups but different outside. I can use by with summary for all variables by(iris[,1:4], iris$Species, summary) what can be quite messy in case of more than few variables and about 8 groups or densityplot for one variable densityplot(~Petal.Length | Species, iris) I have two questions: 1. Is there

New code in R-devel: Rao score test for glm.
I have just committed some code to the r-devel branch to implement the Rao efficient score test. This is asymptotically equivalent to the LRT, but there is some indication that it might have better properties in smaller samples since it is based more directly on the distribution of the sufficient sums under the null hypothesis (e.g., if you have a divergent fit to the model under the alternative,

Homogeneity of variance tests between more than 2 samples (long)
Dear all a couple of months ago i've found threads regard test that verify AnOVa assumption on homogeneity of variances. Prof. Ripley advice LDA / QDA procedures, many books (and many proprietary programs) advice Hartley's F_max, Cochran's minimum/maximum variance ratio (only balanced experiments), K^2 Bartlett's test, Levene's test. [LLVMdev] Problem with LoopDependenceAnalysis
Hi, I am using LLVM for implementing LoopFission pass. I am using LoopPass. I know that for checking circular dependency in loop I have to use LoopDependenceAnalysis This is what i want to do. for(int i = 0; i< n ; i++){ s1 : a[i] = a[i] + x[i]; s2 : x[i] = x[i+1] + i*2 ; } /**there is no dependence from s2 to s1/ so after distribution(it

D-Link DPH-80S vs *
List, The D'Link phones are not reliable at this time. I am trying to get them fix their Firmware to my specifications. It is half done so far. However there are still hurdles. below email is self explanatory. At present if you want to use these phones, you need to buy D'Link's SIP Server and run this as one of your SIP servers in the blend to call to Asterisk. Seshu Kanuri "G

Regarding CVE-2015-1781 vulnerability in Glibc
Thanks for the reply. Where can we get the info regarding whether its fixed in CentOS 5 or not? I did rpm -q --changelog <glibc> | grep <CVE> but I dont find any info on this. This might means 3 things. 1. The version is not affected so no fix 2. The version is affected, still no fix 3. Fix applied, but not shown in o/p Thanks On Fri, Jun 5, 2015 at 2:06 PM, John Tall <mjtallx
