samba 4.13.17 ubuntu 20.04
Hi everyone, I'm posting here because I'm facing a kerberos authentication problem after the 2:4.13.17~dfsg-0ubuntu1.20.04.4 samba upgrade. The clients, win10, win11, win2016 cannot login to AD anymore. On server logs the authentication succeeded but in the Event Viewer on the client I have this error: Security-Kerberos The Kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the

We have the same issue with Samba 4.13.17. For Ubuntu 20.04 with Samba 4.13.17 there seems to be only a workaround to solve the login problem: Modifying the Local Security Policy -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> Network security: "Configure encryption types allowed for Kerberos" Check only DES_CBC_CRC, DES_CBC_MD5 and RC4_HMAC_MD5. ? This worked for us to login again. ?

Help ! libvirt
I finally fixed it. The issue seems to be with the tpm-tis/cpu backend (wonder why it shows up with a different error) For the sake of community, I am attaching the new xml file so that you can do forensics on what changed (I prettymuch did a virt-install --import --print-xml to redo the config keeping everything intact) I found another issue If I switch the suspend-to-disk

Samba shares and samba server residing on different physical machines
Hi fellow Members!I'm Systems administrator at a school using SAMBA 4 as AD DC. As you know, WIN11 is at the doorstep and my "old" Samba4 Server (4.9) doesn't serve Windows Servers (Server 2019) very well, e.g. the latest issue is that the domain administrator cannot access the GPO's or other informations from the Samba-LDAP (authentication failure ?). I think that it has

After the last security patchs, installing drivers was a nightmare, so i'm currently using other mean (normally, WPKG) to deploy printer driver to PC, and using Point'n'Print for printer management and configuration. Dovecot on Ubuntu 20.04
Hi, sorry I should be more specific. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 and using the latest packages from repo.dovecot.com But these are only available for bionic, not focal. So I'm not sure if the bionic packages are working under focal. I did not notice that ubuntu original packages are on 2.3.7 now. So worst thing will be that after the upgrade to focal i need to downgrade to 2.3.7 original ubuntu
