Curious: Schema refresh needed 1 != 2
Hi Rowland, > How did you upgrade ? I upgraded by merging the latest code from the samba git repo, doing a git clean to remove old local files. Then using a set of scripts (outside the samba git folder) I compile the code into a rpm which then gets redistributed internally to our DC's, running CentOS 6.9 (All packages up to date) > Have you upgraded everything ? The group name could not be found
Hey guys, It's me again. Today I moved our NAS from our old 2000 domain to a new domain presided over by two Samba 4.7.2 domain controllers. After the move I cant access the NAS at all from my Windows 7 test pc. I keep getting an error that "The group name could not be found" I am at the end of my troubleshooting skills. I also moved the NAS' samba from sernet-samba 4.1 to

Experiences with CentOS & MacBook Pro?
Ok, I'm finally of a mindset to replace my now tired, aging Dell Inspiron 600m. I'm currently running Fedora Core on it, and am fairly happy with the software. Has anybody used CentOS on a Macbook Pro? What gotchas are there? (The first that comes to mind is the lack of a right mousebutton) Scouting on the Internet, I've seen that some people have trouble getting sound to work.

Replication Error
Hi Denis Thanks for your response without your crystal ball. I have increased the log level =9 dns:0 on both the servers. It replicates successfully by manually running the command samba-tool drs replicate SERVER2 SERVER1 dc=iumnet,dc=edu,dc=na --full-sync but it is still failing when I check from the samba-tool drs showrepl Also I run samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix on both the servers

Hai Ian, Can you run this one again on both servers and pm me both outputs. I'll have a good look. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thctlo/samba4/master/samba-collect-debug-info.sh I've updated the file, so do use the new one. Quick questions ( maybe a little confidence building too )
Hi all. First thing: I want to thank you all for your help over the past month as I've been learning asterisk. This is one of the more helpful lists. Even when I ask questions that have answers in the wiki ( which I missed because I've been over studying ). Second thing is this: My office is scouting out VoIP solutions, and I have suggested an asterisk solution. We will be
