Issue about domU missing interrupt
Hi developers,
I met some domU issues and the log suggests missing interrupt.
Details from here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/users/263938#263938
In summary, this is the suspicious log:
(XEN) vmsi.c:122:d32767 Unsupported delivery mode 3
I''ve checked the code in question and found that mode 3 is an ''reserved_1''
mode.
I want to trace down the source of this

Possible Security Hole (Bug?)
Hello,
I noticed something that may or may not be a bug in Samba4 on an AD DC - I
may be completely missing something and if that's the case please feel free
to let me know - but.
If for some reason the Samba4 DC thinks that the UID for an account (for
example, DOM\Administrator) is 0, and you log into that account, it logs you
into the local root account (even if it is disabled, as it

gccfss-4.2.0 fixincludes headers out of date, breaking dtrace SDT
Hi all,
(CC''ing dtrace-discuss as an FYI+workaround)
I''m using dtrace -h to define provider probes for my application, and it wraps the resulting probe provider definitions in an #if _DTRACE_VERSION. Everything works fine for cc/CC, but gcc/g++ (gccfss v4.2.0) doesn''t seem to define it and the provider call macros expand to nothing instead.
A diff shows that gcc uses

Sysprep joins fail on Samba >= 4.2.0
Hi,
We have a samba 4.2.2 setup compiled from source, single DC, internal DNS.
We've been using this samba setup in production since version 4.0.3. All
clients are Windows 7-x64.
Since we upgraded to samba 4.2.0 back in march 2015, we are not able to
join client machines to the domain using our sysprep unattended image, but
joining machines via the manual procedure using the Windows GUI

Samba 4.2.0: Group write permission not honored
For anyone considering using Samba 4.2.0, be aware that there is a
problem with group write permission not being honored.
This is seen on both Linux and Solaris. We have a setup where we have
project directory trees where the files are owned by various users but
also by a group that the various users are a member of. The group
permissions are set to allow group write access. With Samba 4.1.* and

Samba 4.2.0 fails to start if domain was provisioned by classicupgrade
Hello,
I am trying to upgrade our domain controller to 4.2.0 from 4.1.16, however
samba will not start after the upgrade. It appears to be related to the
fact that this AD domain was created by running classicupgrade. My test
environment, which was originally provisioned from 4.0 does not have this
problem. This server was originally deployed back in 2004 using Samba3 and
OpenLDAP. We upgraded

ntpd 4.2.0 'broadcastclient' broken
I'm running latest CentOS 4.3 (2.6.9-34.0.2.ELsmp) and found that
the included 'ntpd' 4.2.0a at 1.1190-r will not accept NTP broadcast
packets. There is a documented bug in ntpd 4.2.0 to this effect,
resolved way back in 2004:
https://ntp.isc.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=267
Any chance someone can include a more recent version of 'ntpd' in
the next CentOS RPM update
