Problem Reading from .txt
I apologize that I've asked a similar question before, but being new to R I don't think I did a very good job of formating the question. I've included a text file since the date set is somewhat large. What I have is a huge string of numbers in a text file. The numbers are all separated by comma's and the groups are separated by a semicolon. What I would like to do is read each

Matrix input problem
Hi, Included is an R.script that came from a much large date set being read in to R from a .txt file. Why is it that the first line codes with an error, but the second line works fine? Is there some line length limit in R? This happens at random places all through my data. Any help would be appreciated. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill Wyatt

Bug in set_effective_uid on AIX 4.1.5 /4.3.2 Samba 2.0.3
Dear samba-Team, The bug reported in PR#12819 for AXI 4.1.5 persits also in samba 2.0.3. The Bug prevents the connecting of other users as root to any share. I have a workaround/fix tested on AIX 4.1.5 ,4.3.2 with gcc 2.8.1 here: Change samba-2.0.3/source/lib/util_sec.c funktion set_effective_uid like this: 155c155 < #elif defined(HAVE_SETREUID) --- > #elif defined(HAVE_SETREUID)

Help with "non-integer #successes in a binomial glm"
Hi, I had a logit regression, but don't really know how to handle the "Warning message: non-integer #successes in a binomial glm! in: eval(expr, envir, enclos)" problem. I had the same logit regression without weights and it worked out without the warning, but I figured it makes more sense to add the weights. The weights sum up to one. Could anyone give me some hint? Thanks a lot!

rsync on cygwin is hanging
I am trying to backup a Windows machine to a Linux machine using rsync (over ssh). I have been able to successfully sync a few files at a time, but when I try to backup an entire tree the process hangs on both machines. I believe this is a different problem than one posted on here before, but I did try this patch with no success:

playing a wav file in RoR
Hi RoR Folks, Have a MySQL database with a blob datytype with .wav files loaded into them. Would like to have a button on a form that toggles between play and pause when clicked and will play the .wav file. Any suggestions on the best way to implement this?
