version 2.2.6 breaks compiling on Solaris 10 sparc
Hello, I maintain the dovecot package at opencsw.org. The latest release of dovecot verison 2.2.6 has some changes to lib-http which is breaking compiling on Solaris 10 sparc (though x86 builds successfully). Here is part of the compiler output while building: libtool: compile: /opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I../../src/lib -I../../src/lib-test

Greetings! I am attempting to install Dovecot 2.2.5 on Solaris 10 Sparc hardware with openssl version 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004. I have created a dovecot user and a dove null user, assigned them their own login directories specifying the ksh shell and assigned them to their own groups. I have run the configure command successfully and am having trouble with the make. At first, I received the problem

dovecot-keywords are not preserved any more when moving mails between folders
Hello, after an upgrade of dovecot-2.2.5 to dovecot-2.3.4 the dovecot-keywords, which in my case are set by thunderbird, are not preserved any more when moving a mail between folders. Are there any ideas, what may be the reason. Thanks for any hints on that, Andreas 'doveconf -n' gives: # 2.3.4 (0ecbaf23d): /etc/opt/csw/dovecot/dovecot.conf # Pigeonhole version 0.5.4 (60b0f48d) # OS:

Corrections for the R manual on Solaris
There are a few errors in the R manual about Solaris. 1) Firstly you may know that Sun is now owned by Oracle. 2) "(Recent Sun machines are Opterons (?amd64?) rather than ?x86?, but 32-bit ?x86? executables are the default.) " It's not true to say that recent machines are Opterons rather than x86. Many new Sun machines are based on 64-bit Intel CPUs (often called x64). The

dovecot/lmtp dumps core when proxying to multiple recipients via protocol=smtp
Hello, when trying to set up a migration scenario from my old mailbox-servers to my new dovecot-cluster, I get a coredump from dovecot/lmtp when proxying mail-delivery to more than one recipient on the old mailbox-server. My setup: 3 director-hosts (Debian stretch) are proxying to a pair of replicator-hosts and during migration also to the old mailbox-server. For migration the not-migrated

[2.3.8] possible replication issue
Hi, some of our customers have discovered a replication issue after upgraded from 2.3.7.2 to 2.3.8. Running 2.3.8 several replication connections are hanging until defined timeout. So after some seconds there are $replication_max_conns hanging connections. Other replications are running fast and successful. Also running a doveadm sync tcp:... is working fine for all users. I can't see

proposed new doco for "Gluster 3.1: Installing GlusterFS on OpenSolaris"
Hi all Reference: http://support.zresearch.com/community/documentation/index.php/Gluster_3.1:_Installing_GlusterFS_on_OpenSolaris I have found this guide to be too brief/terse, and have endeavoured to improve it via more of a recipie/howto approach - and possibly misunderstood the intent of the brief directions in the process. Printers don't stick
Hi, Having a weird problem here. We've got Sambe 3.0.14a and cups 1.1.23 on a Debian system. I've run: cupsaddsmb -U RALPH\\jgoerzen -a -v Where RALPH is our PDC (and it also the machine I'm running this command on). The entire command *appears* to work, but: * None of the tdb files in /var/lib/samba, including ntforms.tdb, ntprinters.tdb, etc. have their date stamp updated.

[2.3.8] possible replication issue
I think there's a good chance that upgrading both will fix it. The bug already existed in old versions, it just wasn't normally triggered. Since v2.3.8 this situation is triggered on one dsync side, so the v2.3.9 fix needs to be on the other side. > On 5. They are currently idle because no builders have been scheduled to use them: # gcc54 36G 0.5 GHz TI UltraSparc IIe (Hummingbird) / 1.5 GB RAM / Sun Netra T1 200 /

no network interfaces found on OpenIndiana (Illumos)
Hi, I've downloaded the samba 3.6.12 OpenCSW package. I joined openindiana to the the active directory, winbind seems to work fine, I see all the users with "wbinfo -u". However, my samba server is not starting. It seems that there is no network card found. 2013/03/06 10:40:39.068405, 0] lib/interface.c:543(load_interfaces) WARNING: no network interfaces found [2013/03/06
