Grand prix legends recognize only two joystick axis
Hi, I'm trying to use my saitek cyborg evolution to play with grand prix legends. The device is correctly recognized by linux as a 6 axis 12 button device: Code: jstest /dev/input/js0 Driver version is 2.1.0. Joystick (Saitek Cyborg USB Stick) has 6 axes (X, Y, Z, Rz, Hat0X, Hat0Y) and 12 buttons (Trigger, ThumbBtn, ThumbBtn2, TopBtn, TopBtn2, PinkieBtn, BaseBtn, BaseBtn2, BaseBtn3, BaseBtn4,

Only one joystick of two activated
Hi, I am always using the newest Wine snapshot on OpenSUSE 10.3 x86_64. My two USB-joysticks (js0, js1) - which are pedals and joystick - work without problems with all native Linux simulations like FlightGear, Torcs, etc. It is a big pity that with Wine only the first joystick is activated, no matter which order I use, because with Wine all my old Windows simulations work without problems.

USB-joystick not detected
Hi, I am using a CH Flightstick gameport-stick converted by a gameport-usb converter (Rockfire). This works well under OpenSUSE Linux 10.1, ie. with FlightGear. When I try to use this joystick with Wine wine-0.9.24 it is not detected with two running (with keyboard) sims: Fly!II and A320 Simulator. I also set a link # ln -s /dev/input/js0 /dev/js0 as suggested in other posts. Here is my debug

Star Sonata
Hi. I've had issues with my Windows Laptop, so I've been trying to get Star Sonata working using Wine. It runs horribly under Cedega. I've recently upgraded my system to the latest Ubuntu (8.04), and upgraded Wine to 1.1.2. I've got an NVidia GeForce 6800 GT card, and I'm running Pentium 4, x86 architecture. At this time, with the default settings, there are no graphical

Shockware + firefox sound issues
I have firefox installed under wine (v1.5 on 20050830) and running fairly well. I have installed Shockwave + flash, both of which seem to work as good as their native counterparts (Native Windows in the case of shockwave) except that sound in shockwave is jumpy and seems to be suffering from an underrun issue. This is the output in the terminal: fixme:dsound:DSOUND_MixOne problem with

Wine & Wow
I'm experiencing problems with World of Warcraft. There two issues; First one is mouse lag on game. I found that "hardware cursor" can solve this problem. This is not so important. Second problem is the important one. When i start game, after playing like 2 minutes the frame rate decreases to ~0.1 frame per second. This means a huge lag is happening. This continues for at least 15

dddraw unable to draw in CVS
Hi, I often build wine every 2 or 3 days from cvs source, and I recognize that there are updates around x11drv, ddraws, and d3d8/9 at these days. 4 or 5 days ago, where I found that ddraws are unable to draw at all (was still working wine 0.9.15) in some games/programs which use it. Ones use GDI and OpenGL seem fine. Here is an example of win32 binary which is Snes9x, an emulator of a console,

Final Fantasy VIII works, but sound choppy.
Hey Folks. I've been playing FF8 in Linux the last few days (Software Rendering). Don't think it ever worked accelerated in windows either, though (GeForce card). The graphics keep a fair pace and everything would be good, if it weren't for the choppy sound. It seems to make a smal pause about once a second or so (when I'm lucky, the music plays without interruptions for 15-30

4.0_rc1 new install fails to enable mixer devices
I've just installed 4.0_rc1 to evaluate and compare with FC3 for a local project. The installation and initial usage of the two distros is almost identical. up2date and yum work well on either. The one problem I have is with sound. CentOS has loaded snd_intel8x0 and all the usual suspects, but the mixers (GNOME volume controls, etc., do not work because there is no /dev/xxx for the mixer

Winecfg does not notice my headphones - only mic (USB Headset) / No 'Mixer Devices' in Alsa - only OSS
Hi, I've been struggling to get everything going fine for a while now. Finally I can talk clearly and hear people. Problem is it was coming through my speakers connected to an external USB Sound Card; if I set it to come through my USB Headset, it comes through speakers anyway. I unplugged USB sound card and restarted computer. Now I tried again. This time I simply do not hear sound.

Forcing Wine To Use Audio Device/Mixer
Well, I've got multiple sound devices on my system (integrated HDA SB ATI sound card, headset connected to USB sound card, and my webcam's built-in mic). Unfortunately, Wine does not always use my integrated sound device for some reason. So, instead it will do one of two things: go to the headset or the webcam. Going to the webcam is an auto-fail, and if it goes to the headset it
