[PATCH RFC 00/20] expose global performance counters
Hello, This series exposes global performance counters (PCOUNTER) to the userspace through the nvif interface by reworking most of the code related to the PM engine. This interface will allow the userspace to control and monitor complex hardware events like the proprietary driver already does, for example with CUPTI and PerfKit. For now, this series only exposes performance counters on NV50,

Reclocking support for NVA0
Adds reclocking for NVA0, and a whole lot of work for other cards. Had these patches collecting dust for a little, but tested them with both my NVA0, and Martin's a while back. Success not guaranteed, but should be quite a leap forward. Happy reviewing and testing. Cheers, Roy

[PATCH v4] pmu/gk20a: PMU boot support
From: Deepak Goyal <dgoyal at nvidia.com> - Maps PMU firmware into PMU virtual memory. - Copy bootloader into PMU memory and start it. - Allow the PMU to interact with HOST via interrupts. PMU after successful configurations (to follow after this patch) will: 1.Autonomously power gate graphics engine when not in use.It will save us a lot of power. 2.Provide better way to scale frequencies

[PATCH 0/6] map big page by platform IOMMU
Hi, Generally the the imported buffers which has memory type TTM_PL_TT are mapped as small pages probably due to lack of big page allocation. But the platform device which also use memory type TTM_PL_TT, like GK20A, can *allocate* big page though the IOMMU hardware inside the SoC. This is a try to map the imported buffers as big pages in GMMU by the platform IOMMU. With some preparation work to

display SVG, PNG, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PPM in new plot frame
Dear R-help I want to display an image file in a new plot frame. SVG is my preferred format, but I can also consider PNG, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, and PPM (from ImageMagick). By way of background (although not material to this posting), the image file is generated by a call to 'dot' (part of the 'Graphviz' suite) after the required .dot file has been produced using hand-crafted R code.

Prepare the way for performance counters in perfmon
Hi folks, This set of patches is just for clearing the way before introducing the infrastructure for performance counters in perfmon. I'll try to publish a new version of my kernel interface based on nvif in a couple of days. See you.

[PATCH v2 0/6] nouveau/gk20a: RAM device removal & IOMMU support
Changes since v1: - Add missing else condition in ltc - Remove extra flags that slipped into nouveau_display.c and nv84_fence.c. Original cover letter: Patches 1-3 make the presence of a RAM device optional, and remove GK20A's dummy RAM driver we were using so far. On chips using shared memory, such a device can confuse the driver into moving objects where there is no need to, and can trick

Sweave
I'm trying to (re)learn Sweave and run into some problems. I use now ubuntu (8.10), emacs + ess. Slowly getting upto speed on ess. I have a complete (hopefully) .Rnw file, but the resulting .tex will not compile. The file does not contain anything exotic, but it produces pdf figures, and that is where the problems come: library(tools) > Sweave("varioCoo.Rnw") Writing to file

More examples?
Hello, I want to make a program to extract frame from a theora movie as images. I tried with the decoding example located at theora web site (dump_video.c. I use it to extract a frame as yuv image but when I try to convert it to ppm with yuvtoppm program i obtain a strange image ( see http://poux.be/tmp/file.ppm ). I think it's a problem with the byte order for yuv, but don't I don't

AMENDED: Ppmtolss16 trouble...
Upon finding a different image conversion program, I have eliminated the Premature EOF problem that I had(apologies if I post this before the moderator approves my first post...you can ignore it if/when it shows up). Now, I am seeing the script complete with no error. I tested my syslinux.dpy file with the syslogo.lss file from the samples, and it's fine. The lss file I created, however,

PPM to BMP converter
Dear all, Several days ago, I posted How to write a bmp file pixel by pixel. Instead of bmp, I succeeded in writing a PPM file by using the pixmap package. Thanks for the hint generously provided by Uwe Ligges. Now I have a new question. How to convert a PPM file to BMP file in R? I know I can do this in photoshop or by some other softwares, but I think if I Can do this in R, that
