The gobject bindings generate a large number of header files, which pollute /usr/include when installed. This patch moves them all into a guestfs-gobject/ subdirectory. guestfs-gobject.h remains in the same place. Certain functions are intended to be internal only, but we currently export them anyway. This change moves them into a separate section of guestfs.h protected by a GUESTFS_PRIVATE variable. This change also enables private structs, but doesn't implement any. This change only affects the C api. Language bindings aren't affected, but probably should be in the future. --- align/Makefile.am

This adds most of the hivex APIs directly to the libguestfs API, so that you can read and write Windows Registry hive files from libguestfs without needing to download and upload hive files from the guest. This is analogous to how Augeas APIs are exposed already (guestfs_aug_*) Also, inspection is now done using the new APIs, which fixes the following bug:

The proposed API is the same as v1, but this includes an implementation (for /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*) and modifications to virt-inspector. This compiles and works. If you look in patch 5 you can see proposed output as virt-inspector XML for a guest (although this guest has not been booted, so a real guest would hopefully have a hwaddr="MAC" attribute too).
