Dear LLVM community, hope all of you had a good start into 2018 and a quiet branching of LLVM 6.0. With the latest LLVM release out of the way and a longer development phase starting, we would like to restart the process of including Polly and isl into core LLVM to bring changes in early on before the next LLVM release. Short summary: * Today Polly is already part of each LLVM release (and

Unexpected parameter problem using rsaga.geoprocessor() {RSAGA}
Hello, I discovered SAGA, an interesting free GIS, a few days ago and now, I would like to use it from within R 2.6.2 using the RSAGA package. I read the documentation for this package and thought that I understood it correctly for trying to call some of the SAGA modules. For getting the information on the usage of and arguments required by the SAGA command line "Import Binary Raw

Samba 3.0.20 and ADmitMac
Does anyone have any experiences with integrating Samba and Thursby Software's ADmitMac? All of our Microsoft XP and Win2000 workstations work just fine with Samba, but I'm having a hell of a time getting ADmitMac to play nicely with Samba. Conversely, ADmitMac works great with Microsoft NT4, 2000 and 2003 servers. I'm not able to browse the network let alone join the OSX machines

Hi Tobi,  I have some concerns about adding Polly into LLVM proper. I think that it's great that Polly is a part of the LLVM umbrella of projects, like Clang and LLDB. However, I am not convinced that Polly belongs in the LLVM compiler library. LLVM is a major dependency for so many external projects. Rust, Swift, GPU drivers by different vendors, and JIT compilers all rely on LLVM. Projects

Unable to Save Permission Changes on "share" on "server" Access Denied.
I'm running Samba 3.0.23c-3 on Debian Testing (Etch_) with kernel 2.6.17-2-686. ACL and XATTR support is built into the kernel. The samba package installed has support for ACL and XATTR. I have a reiserfs filesystem mounted with the acl and user_xattr attributes. I have this box connected to a native mode Active Directory Domain with kerberos and winbind, which are working correctly. Thanks Tobias, I am really looking forward to trying out the true integrated Polly and I hope to provide good positive feedback. Since I am maintaining an "out of tree" target, I generally update on each release - I call it the Big Bang update because of the difficulties this presents. At the moment our target is based on the v5.0.0 sources, and I hope to update to the v6.0.0 sources

RFC: Import of Integer Set Library into LLVM source tree
Hi, Nadav, Chris, et al., If you've not already seen it, we had a long discussion about incorporating Polly into LLVM on llvm-dev, http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2017-September/117063.html (with a continuation in October: http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2017-October/118125.html) with a lot of detailed information. I think it is important, first, that we agree on the goals

Multi ISP ppp0 and ppp1 switching
Hi, I currently connect to my ISP via my adsl modem in bridge mode and PPPoE. I am due to put a second PPPoE ISP onto my firewall box which will give me ppp0 (general) and ppp1 (static leased line). The static leased line will run a number of services on its static IP and it is therefore imperative to make sure rules defined for the static line are assigned to the correct interface. I need this to

[LLVMdev] Version Control Upgrade?
John, Here's my list: 1. CVS is slow. Many of the other tools do bi-directional binary deltas on file changes they are transmitting. This is basically the technology that makes rsync so fast. CVS doesn't do this. Probably not a big deal when you're working at UIUC but its CRUCIAL when I'm on the road working from a hotel or airport wi-fi connection. 2. Related to 1 is diff
