Community Meeting 2017-10-11
We had a quick meeting today, with 2 main topics. We have a new community issue tracker [1], which will be used to track community initiatives. Amye will be sharing more information about this in another email. To co-ordinate people travelling to the Gluster Community Summit better, a spreadsheet [2] has been setup to share information. Apart from the above 2 topics, Shyam shared that he is on

gluster-rest, a RESTful web api server for gluster
Hey everyone, I did a quick hack in go about a month ago and gluster-rest was the outcome. You can find it at https://github.com/kshlm/gluster-rest The program is basically a wrapper around the gluster cli. It translates incoming requests to the correct gluster cli command, executes the cli command with the '--xml' parameter to get xml output and returns the xml document. For eg, For

[New Release] GlusterD2 v4.0dev-7
After nearly 3 months, we have another preview release for GlusterD-2.0. The highlights for this release are, - GD2 now uses an auto scaling etcd cluster, which automatically selects and maintains the required number of etcd servers in the cluster. - Preliminary support for volume expansion has been added. (Note that rebalancing is not available yet) - An end to end functional testing framework

[Update] GD2 - what's been happening
Hello! We're restarting regular GD2 updates. This is the first one, and I expect to send these out every other week. In the last month, we've identified a few core areas that we need to focus on. Failed rebalance - lost files, inaccessible files, permission issues
I'm starting a new thread on this, because I have more concrete information than I did the first time around. The full rebalance log from the machine where I started the rebalance can be found at the following link. It is slightly redacted - one search/replace was made to replace an identifying word with REDACTED. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/97770508/mdfs-rebalance-redacted.zip

Correlation Matrix with a Covariate
R Help - I'm trying to run a correlation matrix with a covariate of "age" and will at some point will also want to covary other variables concurrently. I'm using the "psych" package and have tried other methods such as writing a loop to extract semi-partial correlations, but it does not seem to be working. How can I accomplish this? library(psych) > set.cor(y =
