How to rsync only specified subdirectories in the source folder?
Hi all, For example,if there is ten subdirectories named sub1~sub10(each including subdirectories and files too),and file1~file10,how can I rsync only sub2 and sub 3 to the target? /---- MyFolder |---------- sub1 |---------- sub2 |---------- sub3 |---------- sub4 |---------- sub5 |---------- sub6 |---------- sub7 |---------- sub8 |---------- sub9

sorting a data frame by rownames
Hi there, I'm sure there's an easy answer to this, and I can't wait to see it. The question: is there an easy way to sort a data frame by it's row names? My dilemma: I've had to pull apart a data frame, run it through a loop to do some calculations and generate new variables, and then re-construct the chunks back into a data frame at the end. Doing this preserves the row

How to describe the RegisterInfo?
Yes, the arch is just as you said, something like AMD GPU, but Intel GPU don't have separate register file for 'scalar/vector'. In fact my idea of defining the register tuples was borrowed from SIRegisterInfo.td in AMD GPU. But seems that AMD GPU mainly support i32/i64 register type, while Intel GPU also support byte/short register type. So I have to start defining the registers from

How to flatten a tree (based on list) to a certain depth?
Suppose that I have the following list of lists of frames 'root' (let's call it a 'tree' of frames). I want to flatten it to be a list of frames. However, if I unlist(root), it will flatten the frames as well. Is there a simply way to flatten the tree to certain depth? aframe1=data.frame(x=1:3,y=1:3) aframe2=data.frame(u=7:9,v=11:13) aframe3=data.frame(p=3:5,q=6:8)

Re: [S] LME - fixed effects model and missing values
Here is an answer to a 1999 post. I didn't find a direct answer anywhere on the Web, perhaps because it is "obvious" once one sees it. Suppose you have data from a longitudinal study, where each subject was measured *up to* four times, with missing measurements, so that the data look like this: > MAT<- structure(c(23, 24, 6, 19, 16, 20, 13, 11, NA, 8, NA, 21, 19, 15, 11,

Finish extension (avoid dialplan to silently continue in the next priority of another extension)
Hi, I have run into a strange behaviour: [ctx-test] exten => h,1,NoOp(*** hangup ***) exten => s,1,NoOp(*** ${EXTEN} ***) same => n,... same => n,... same => n,Hangup() Strangely, the h extension continues on the priority 2 of the extension s. Maybe this is caused by the use of same? How can I make sure that an extension is really ending, something like: exten =>

[LLVMdev] subregs in trivial coalescing
I'm running into a problem with subregs during trivial coalescing in the linear scan allocator. Should RALinScan::attemptTrivialCoalescing be allowed to coalesce a COPY that uses a subreg as a destination? I've got the following sequence of code (unfortunately for an out of tree target) that is moving 32 and 64 bit sub-registers around within a 128 bit register. By the time the register

How to extract sublist from a list?
Hi everyone, Suppose I have a list named "lst", see below: > lst $sub1 ... $sub1$x ... $sub1$y .... $sub2 ... $sub2$x ... $sub2$y ? $sub3 ... ... ... Now, I want to extract the sub-sublist $y from every sublist(sub1, sub2...) and then storage them to a new list. I know how to extract them by subscript or list name one by one, but I wonder if there exist some tricks to finish this

better way of recoding factors in data frame?
Hi all, I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but I wanted to make sure I was clear. I am trying to merge two dataframes that share a number of rows (but some are unique to each data frame). Each row represents a subject in a study. The problem is that sex is coded differently in the two, including the way missing values are represented. Here is an example of the merged dataframe:

Linking Fortran subroutines
Hi, I just started using R a few weeks ago and have a problem with linking Fortran subroutines to R. For some reasons, I need to compile a Fortran program in R (or Splus) and the whole program consists a couple of subroutines, say, subA and subB. There is no difficulty in linking the subroutines individually, but two subroutines are nested, as shown below, SUBROUTINE subA(arg.) EXTERNAL

Fortran subroutines dblepr, realpr, intpr
I am making my first attempts at using some Fortran code with R, and so far it's going OK. To print from my Fortran programs, it seems I need subroutines dblepr, realpr and intpr. From the excellent "Writing R Extensions" document: "Three subroutines are provided to ease the output of information from FORTRAN code. subroutine dblepr(label, nchar, data, ndata)

Passing literals with commas to subroutine
Hi, Let's say I do: Set(data=xxx, yyy) Gosub(my-sub,s,1(${data})) My subroutine will only receive "xxx" for ARG1. How can I pass a literal with a comma to a single argument in a subroutine? (The point is: when calling the subroutine I do not know if the variable has a comma or not.) Thanks, Daniel -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

DLL for calling Fortran subroutines
Hi everybody, I'm trying to use fortran subroutines in a R function. I've generated a DLL file using my fortran subroutines, and I've got a DLL which includes an export table with the names of my subroutines. Then, I use the R command library(test), where test is a directory located in the R library tree and which contains a R directory (with my R functions) and a libs directory (with

How to describe the RegisterInfo?
Hi Escha, Great to have your comment! Do you have any specific reason for not doing like this? I am not sure whether I understand your point correctly. For "just model one thread", do you mean "only considering ONE of the 8/16 working lanes that running in lock-step way"?? For my case, may be something like I only need to define r0~r127 as register for i32 register (each r#

Compiling Fortran Subroutines as R Shared Objects on Mac OS-X
Hello, I am trying to compile some F77 subroutines as shared objects for R on my Mac. --> Mac OS-X Version 10.4.11 (Tiger Intel Mac) I have done this (successfully) before on Sun Solaris and Linux Fedora systems using the following command. > R CMD SHLIB myfile.f I have g77 installed from this page. http://hpc.sourceforge.net/ I am using R 2.8.1, and I have installed all 4 additional

Using fortran code which call LAPACK subroutines
Hello I'm trying to run a fortran code which use LAPACK subroutines. I think I should use some points shown in the manual 5.5 Creating shared objects but it is too technical for me :-(... Could anyone help me for the procedure to do: -which part of the manual is relevant for this type of question? actually I'm speaking from writing R extensions, should I read R admin? -point 1.2

using reshape to do ANOVA mixed models
Hi, I just started with R and I found that there are many options to rearrange the data to do mixed models. I want to use the reshape function. I have 2 between subject variables and one within. I was able to change the data structure but still - the result of the aov functions are calculating everything as a within subject. the table looks like this: SerialNo breed treatment distance_1

xtabs
Hi, In Splus if I call the function crosstabs() the output is a contigency table; in each cell of the table is printed: N, N/RowTotal, N/ColTotal, N/Total. N is the number of observations in each cell. The same call to xtabs() in R will produce the contigency table but the only entry in each cell is N. How can I get the same relative frequencies that crosstabs() gives? Thanks, mike --

ggplot2, geomtile fill assignment
Dear R help, I have some readings in three dimensions (x, y, z) and an amplitude for each. I'd like to visualize the data using ggplot, using tile plots, as I have some additional point data I would like to eventually overlay on the tile plots. I would like to subset the data by sections, slices if you will, in the z dimension, and plot the data for that slice. I can do all of this, but am

strange tc filter behavior
Hi All I am fighting this for 3 days and could not find any reason it is not working the way I want to (or I the way think it should). Internet output interface = eth2 (htb qdisc) Internet input interface = imq0 (eth2 attached - htb qdisc) main class = imq0 1:1 sub1 = 1:ffff (default) sub2 = 1:10 (src ports 1433/tcp or 1434/tcp or 81/tcp or 82/tcp) sub3 = 1:11 (src and dst port 25/tcp )
