DAHDI and ZAPTEL for automatically start (rc.local)
Hi Steve; Currently with Dahdi, for the below configuration that we were using it in the rc.local, how it will be? I think there should be something new to be used instead of ztcfg, what it is? And what about other lines? They need to be changed? touch /var/lock/subsys/local /sbin/modprobe wctdm /sbin/ztcfg -vv /usr/sbin/fxotune -s /usr/sbin/safe_asterisk Regards Bilal --- On Thu, 5/1/08,

Starting and installing Dahdi (2.2.0)?
Hello Unless I overlooked it, the "Asterisk Reference Information Version 1.6.1.6" at www.asterisk.org/docs doesn't include instruction on how to start Dahdi when used to drive a TDP PCI card (OpenVox A400P with a single FXO module www.openvox.cn/products/show.php?itemid=20&lang=2). I'd like to know... 1. How to start Dahdi manually. Is this the right way? modprobe

Dahdi on Archlinux I was able to compile the latest 2.9 Dahdi in archlinux on the Beaglebone black without errors. I ran make install and make config.? It installed the modules etc correctly but did not create an init script in systemd or anywhere else. Has anyone else been able to get dahdi to run in archlinux? How is the start script created? If I run dahdi_config it gives an error that

DAHDI and Oslec
I'm hoping someone can help me here. I've purchased replacement systems for 3 aging 1.4.x installs. I'm hoping to setup Asterisk 11, dahdi 2.6.1 and Oslec. I'm also moving those installs from Mandriva 10.0 to Debian 6.06 (Squeeze). In my testing, the TE220P PCIe cards that I have, the timing was awful on both slots, so I compiled Kernel 3.6.9 from kernel.org. Timing jumped to

Hello all, Ok it is Sunday afternoon and I am going crazy. I have been running in circles so long that I can't think straight. As an example, I sent this message to the wrong address the first try, AAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH. I have Asterisk 1.6.0.6 and DAHDI Tools Version - 2.1.0.2, DAHDI Version: 2.1.0.4, OpenSuSE 10.3 x86_64, tdm422 at the end of installing dahdi-linux and dahdi-tools I get:

DAHDI press button get fast busy
My DAHDI phones were broken since a recent power outage (which required a reboot). For some reason the Asterisk or DAHDI configuration is messed up somewhere (probably from an update that was applied before the reboot?). I am using a Digium TDM410 card. At first, nothing worked at all, but I discovered that if I loaded things manually (e.g. modprobe dahdi; modprobe wctdm24xxp, then go into

Force Dahdi modules to load
People, I'm trying to force dahdi to load the modules I need to get spans working. I have two cards, an Digium TE210E (PCI-e) and a Yeastar TDM1600 FXO (PCI) Actually it is loading just the first of them, it is (wtc4xxp) for TE210E, but doesn't load the second module as specified at /etc/dahdi/modules: wct4xxp ystdm16xx I have to load it manually to get spans working. modprobe

[Dahdi] "DAHDI_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1"?
Hello I'm trying to install Dahdi through source code on a Fedora 13 host to use an OpenVox PCI card with a single FXO port, but dahdi_cfg -vv isn't happy. 1. After successfully running "make all; make install; make config", I edited /etc/dahdi/system.conf thusly: loadzone=fr defaultzone=fr fxsks=1 2. Then ran "dahdi_cfg -vv" which says: ------------- DAHDI Tools

clone X100p+dahdi dial out works only after receiving call
So, tweaking configs, rebuilding this and that... restarting, twiddling, it works (yeah!), but fails on re-boot to work at all. Consistently, though. I believe it comes down to this: I can call out only *after* I've received a call. So, cold boot. Then: modprobe dahdi modprobe wctc4xxp modprobe wcfxo dahdi: Telephony Interface Registered on major 196 dahdi: Version: 2.1.0.3
