Panic: file dsync-brain-mailbox-tree.c: line 448: unreached
Hi all, To backup our imap folders I've a cronjob running in the night: /usr/bin/doveadm -o stats_writer_socket_path= backup -R -A -N tcp:xxx.yyy.zzz:4191 This ran successful when I set it up and didn't look at it anymore. Recently I noticed errors: dsync-local(administration)<uO/qHjXS6FteLAAA3i05xw>: Panic: file dsync-mailbox-tree-sync.c: line 1253 (sync_create_mailboxes):

how to start a replication master-master correctly
Hi all, I currently have one dovecot 2.2.15 working and I would like to add a second master server. If I configure the second server and enable the dsync in both servers, the sync will copy everything from A to B ? I mean, B server won't remove messages in A as it doesn't have anything in its users mailbox? The second master server will be a cold server just for contingency. Thanks

Dsync Panic
Hi, Using dsync to backup my users' mailboxes (dovecot 2.2.10 on both sides), I sometimes encounter the following issue. Below is the output of: dsync -Dvf -u "user" -R backup ssh root at server.domain.tld dsync -u "user" doveadm(root): Debug: Loading modules from directory: /usr/local/lib/dovecot/doveadm doveadm(root): Debug: Skipping module doveadm_acl_plugin,

how to start a replication master-master correctly
That is :-) But for dsync to work correctly in 2.2.15, You have to enable empty password for connection from your servers, this is strange ... and this wasn't need in previous version (at least 2.2.12) For example, (and correct me if I'm wrong or if I can disable empty password), add a passdb source : passdb { driver = static args = nopassword=y

Panic: file dsync-mailbox-tree-sync.c: line 576 (node_mailbox_trees_cmp): assertion failed: (ret != 0)
Hi, Here is a crash that's happening using the latest Dovecot version (v2.2.27 on CentOS7 x86_64): We are using replication. Judging by the second server's logs, I believe this has something to do with the fact that we're using the lazy_expunge plugin. Every night after midnight, we purge the lazy_expunge namespace by running a command similar to following one on the main server

Re: HugePages - can't start guest that requires them
*facepalm* Now that I'm re-reading the documentation it's obvious that <page/> and @nodeset are for the guest, "This tells the hypervisor that the guest should have its memory allocated using hugepages instead of the normal native page size." Pretty clear there. Thank you SO much for the guidance, I'll return to my tweaking. I'll report back here with my results.

Dsync Errors
Greetings, I've seen something like this in another thread, about a month ago, but we're running into this error pretty frequently when we run dsync backup. svyplot and svysmooth with hexbin
Hi all- So sorry to bother you all with something pretty basic. I am trying to add the lines method output from svysmooth to a svyplot with style="grayhex". However, the line either appears in the wrong place or if I am running in R Studio it causes the system to crash. I know this is something to do with Lattice graphics, but for the life of me I can not figure out how. Dr. Lumley

isotope superscripts ggplot2
Happy Friday fellow R users. I need some help - I am trying to make a graph using ggplot 2 of some lead isotope ratios. Normally, the isotope mass number appears as a superscript before the chemical symbol. However, I cannot figure out how to do this ggplot2's axis labels. The closest I have come is using "." In front of the numbers I am superscripting e.g: ggplot(....

Chemical Names in Data Frames
Greetings - I am working on some data that contain chemical names with air concentrations, and I am creating a data frame with date/time and each chemical having its own column. However, these are organic chemicals (e.g. 1-butene, 2,3,4-trimethylbenzene etc). The package I am going to be using the data with is openair, and many of the great functions require you to specify a column name which

ggplot2 - regression statistics how to display on plot
Hello - So I am trying to use ggplot2 to show a linear regression between two variables, but I want to also show the fit of the line on the graph as well. I am using ggplot2 for other graphics in what I am working on, so even though this would be a fairly easy thing to do in Excel, I would prefer to do it in R to keep my look and feel, and I think ggplot2 is just cooler. Here is a sample

Chebyshev Inequality — MVUE
Hello, I was interested in trying to write an R script to calculate a UCL for a lognormal distribution using the Chebyshev Inequality — MVUE Approach (based on EPA’s guidance found in http://www.epa.gov/oswer/riskassessment/pdf/ucl.pdf). This looks like it should be straight forward, but I am need to calculate an MVUE for the population mean and an MVUE for the population variance, which requires
