Can I enable $recipient_delimiter = ?+? for only the virtual sql users? $ doveconf -n # 2.2.5: /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE i386 auth_mechanisms = PLAIN LOGIN disable_plaintext_auth = no first_valid_uid = 89 login_log_format_elements = user=<%u> %r %m %c mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir mail_max_userip_connections = 90 managesieve_notify_capability =

Plus addressing on Sentora using Postfix
> In dovecots 15-lda.conf uncomment the "recipient_delimiter = +" setting. The delimiter is configured in postfix but apparently not in your dovecot lda config I am not sure of the location of 15-lda.conf, however in my main dovecot.conf file I added "recipient_delimiter = +" The output of the lad part of "dovecot -n" is now > protocol lda { >

recipient_delimiter deux
OK, I've been banging my head on why my procmail setup for virtual users is no longer working (difficult to test, since enabling it breaks live user's mail). There are only a few virtual users who have any sort of filters in place anyway (the heavy procmail users are local, not virtual), and they are fairly simple, so I think I can recreate them with sieve. I think I have everything I

Sub addressing delimiters
Hello, There is a disconnect between the way Postfix handles recipient_delimiter and the way Dovecot handles it. For Postfix, it is a set of delimiters that can each individually be used to separate the address from the . In Dovecot, having multiple characters in recipient_delimiters simply makes it a multi-character single delimiter. For my purposes, the Postfix method is much more

plus-address delivery
Forgive me, if this has been previously discussed. I researched as best I could. I couldn't find anyone mentioning it. Please treat me as a newbie. I've recently set up postfix, amavisd-new/SpamAssassin, and dovecot. All three utilize a user database in a MySQL db (on the same host). So far, so good. The problem: I wanted amavisd-new to deliver an e-mail above the

Fwd: Plus addressing on Sentora using Postfix
I am running Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS ?Trusty? and "postconf -d | grep mail_version? gives me ?mail_version = 2.11.0?, with Dovecot 2.2.9 I have installed Sentora (http://sentora.org) which sets most of the configuration up for Postfix up, I have made some changes to allow me to use certificates for IMAP and SMTP SSL (https://skippy.org.uk/lets-encrypt-postfix-and-dovecot/), My Postfix main

recipient_delimiter -- feature request
Hi, It would be nice if the recipient_delimiter configuration option supported multiple recipient delimiters as Postfix now does. e.g. now if I set: recipient_delimiter = +- in Postfix, then test-extension at sample.com and test+extension at sample.com are both recognized. But if I set: recipient_delimiter = +- in Dovecot, neither of the above are recognized and instead test+-extension at

Recipient delimiter and lmtp proxying
Hi, I'm attempting to proxy lmtp using director to hash to the same backend as pop3/imap. My pop3/imap users are of the form: username and my lmtp users are of the form: <username at domain> Where domain is fairly redundant but does carry some useful information. Now, I can proxy lmtp using user=%{username} and destuser=%{orig_user}, and this all appears to work correctly.

Dovecot and recipient_delimiter
Hi, we're using thunderbird as our client, it has the functionality to sort spamassassin tagged mails in a folder called 'Junk'. I have this folder on my dovecot server and i'd like to use the recipient_delimiter feature to get my spam/junk mails directly to this folder. what i have done yet: dovecot.conf: plugin { recipient_delimiter = + } postfix: master.cf dovecot

LC_VIRTUAL with Wx::ListCtrl
Wx::ListCtrl#set_item_count appears to be broken. If I pass it anything but a Fixnum (is_a Integer), it crashes and says it needs a "long" (which Fixnum should appease), but if I pass it a Fixnum it crashes with "cannot convert nil into String." Latest WxRuby. Windows Vista. This makes using LC_VIRTUAL impossible. -- Eric Will // xmpp:rakaur@malkier.net

Want non-ASCII characters in data package
Hi, I have a data frame that includes several names that (if typeset correctly) require accented characters not available in the ASCII character set. I'd like to include this data frame as example data in an R package. I'd also like the R CMD check warning about the use of non-ASCII characters to go away, in part so I could submit the package somewhere that wouldn't balk at the

help!
This is my first time using wine, so forgive me if I am asking a question that's already been answered (although I DID search docs and NG's first..) EVERY time I run Wine (wine-only install, no MS_DOS partition), it goes thru the "building font metrics" phase, which takes forever, but i've seen 1 program run successfully, so something must be working.. When I try to run the

delivering to folder based on recipient_delimiter?
I'm currently running postfix + dovecot, with virtual users In postfix I have set recipient_delimiter = + so that postfix accepts mail for user at example.com, user+foo at example.com, and user+spam at example.com all deliver to inbox. what I would like is to have email directed to user+foo at example.com delivered to the IMAP folder foo (and, in the context of amavisd, have amavis

Issues with Plus addressing and detail part of subaddress.
Hi all, So, it's been a while. I'm just ramping back up with Dovecot after a hiatus of a few years. I've been using it fine, complete with Sieve, for about a year, with little or no issues. I finally got around to setting up a second account, to start figuring out how I want to do some plus address filtering. In a nutshell, I want to put mail for foo+bar in foo's 'bar'

recipient_delimiter
I have recipient_delimiter = + in main.cf (Postfix). But deliveries to dovecot/deliver are still being rejected. It appears that the full email is still in the envelope (e.g. phil+howard at example.com which I want to be delivered to phil at example.com). Is that how it's supposed to work and Dovecot just doesn't support this?
