Change password expiry date for ALL users?
Hello, I want to set the expiry date for passwords for all users with one command. As --pwd-must-change-time only works for a single user and policy settings are not applied after a change, I was wondering how to solve this. Is the only way to write a script which runs "pdbedit --pwd-must-change-time..." for every user? greets Jimmy -- Andreas "Jimmy"

Strange locking behaviour upsets Apache
We have a server which runs Samba and Apache. Web developers edit their files (via Windows mapped drives) from Windows XP SP2. These files are typically CGI files and the developers' routine is: while (web page not quite right) { 1. Edit file 2. Save 3. Click Reload on web browser 4. Check results } They go around that loop many times during a typical development run.

Supreme Commander crashes as game starts. Ubuntu 10.04 lucid
Hi, I'm trying to run Supreme Commander Forged Alliance on my computer. The menus work fine, but when I come to start the game, it starts loading, crashes, then exits. On the game's winehq page, someone else had the same problem. The response from another poster was that setting the color depth to 24 bits fixes the issue. However, this doesn't work. I'm new to wine, so sorry if I

Before the game freezeses, the cursor runs kinda too fast. It rotates like crazy but the game works normal. Any ideas? I'am using Linux Mint Helena 8 and Wine 1.2 (now rc 5). And yes, I patched the game to version

This is what I have and what is available to me: - Samba 3.0.x (current Debian/Sarge version) - LDAP backend for Samba - Windows XP SP2 clients - Domain users are typically unprivileged users - A

Windows 2K Offline files
Is anyone else experiencing problems with offline files and folders on Win 2K (SP4)? They are set up OK but when the Win2K machine goes off line and files are modified it won't sync back when back on the network. Error message from the file sync on windows is 'Access denied' (on the server) But I can easily do the overwrite manually so permissions are OK. Below is the log (level 10)
