Call Quality Measuring
Hi Patrick, You are welcome to try our tools out for active and passive voice quality measurement tools. It's waveform analysis (like PESQ or POLQA) and VoIP metrics analysis (like G.107 E-model and other metrics). You can read more at http://www.sevana.biz or older site http://www.sevana.fi On Tue, Mar 31, 2015 at 1:16 PM, Patrick Beaumont < p.beaumont at hatsoffsoftware.co.uk>

OGG compression optimization
Hi, We have worked out an approach to optimize audio compression for OGG files achieving best or pre-defined quality and best compression ratio. If there is interest in this please consider reading this blog post: http://blog.sevana.fi/optimize-bitrate-and-size-preserving-high-audio-quality-in-tracks-podcasts-tunes-with-aqua-wideband/ Thanks! MOS Scores and LCR
Is there any tool that can do LCR for Asterisk but also take into account MOS scores? Is it possible to automatically generate MOS scores on random "calls" so as to keep an updated database on a per provider, per destination, per time-of-day score? Hopefully, with that information we can create a better LCR module or script? Thanks, Daniel

deriving waveform values
Im am curerntly trying to use R software to extract uncompressed waveform values with I have acquired from IDLreadGLAS tool. I am very lost with this & know I have to assess the GLA01 product data, however, any advice on the matter atall would be brilliant, particularly on define thresholds and connecting GLA01 and GLA14 data (or any data for that matter) -- View this message in context:

Voice quality assessment in Asterisk
Hi, How do you typically test voice quality in Asterisk? For example if you like to do load testing, or monitor voice quality and get notified if certain calls had bad quality for proactive maintenance? Thank you! Memory error in Mac OS X Aqua GUI v1.01 with cluster pack age functions
It's trying to allocate about 850 MB. And that's just the "object that broke the camel's back". You probably really are out of memory. You could increase swap space and cross your fingers, but probably daisy creates the 10481 x 10481 distance matrix, which would be about 800 MB since each entry is 8 bytes. It may even create multiple copies. You might try increasing RAM to 4

Darwin-Aqua R-devel
I've been able to build a very primitive Aqua GUI for Darwin R. This version as minimum event handler support but at least you can drag around the quartz device. You need to download the RAqua.app.sit archive from http://www.economia.unimi.it/R/ You need to unstuff it and put inside your system Applications folder (i.e. /Applications) If you click on the RAqua icon nothing will happen

Memory error in Mac OS X Aqua GUI v1.01 with cluster package functions
I'm sorry if the answer to my problem is buried in the archives. I have limited experience with R and I couldn't find a solution to my particular problem. I am running Mac OS X Aqua GUI v1.01 on a new G5 running os 10.3.8 with a 1.8Ghz processor and 1GB of sdram. I just downloaded bioconducter a week ago and I'm trying to cluster a matrix I created with a simulation with

Please ignore this is you're not interested in what my friend who works for apple had to say regarding my issue which is explained in detail at the bottom of this exchange... me: The data from this simulation has to be processed at several stages of data processing so at some point I do have to have to make a dissimilarity matrix from this large matrix, as well as ones that I have

breaking command in command line in R for Mac Aqua
I'm using R for Mac Aqua version 2.1.1 If at the command line, I type: ls( and then a return, the command line prompt changes to a plus sign indicating that the command has not been completed. How do I break, or kill, the partial command? Sometimes, I type a long command but miss a bracket or parenthesis. On a unix or linux version of R, I can type ctrl-c. On the Mac, ctrl-c,

Re: Help with Hmisc/Design installation in R-aqua (apple).
Thanks, all, for your responses to my earlier email about installing the Hmisc and Design libraries created by Harrell FE Jr. This was the body of my email requesting help: "I have tried, unsuccessfully, to install the Hmisc and Design libraries (Harrell FE Jr) in R-aqua (Apple). These libraries are in source code only (i.e. not yet in ready-to-use binary format). Unfortunately, when I

Startup Files (RProfile) and R-Aqua
Hello, I'm having some difficulty understanding the documentation relative to the startup files with R-Aqua 2.0.1 for Mac OS X. Specifically, I'm wondering: where does R search for the startup files (my home directory at Users:<me>:?); how should they be named (.RProfile will be treated by Mac OS X as a system file and be hidden, so I'm wondering if it should just be
