10.0-BETA4 (upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE) zpool upgrade -> boot failure
Hi, Is there anything known about ZFS under 10.0-BETA4 when FreeBSD was upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE? I have two servers, with very different hardware (on is with soft raid and the other have not) and after a zpool upgrade, no way to get the server booting. Do I miss something when upgrading? I cannot get the error message for the moment. I reinstalled the raid server under Linux and the other

10.0-BETA3 em/nfe drivers on MSI K9NBPM2-FID board. LAN card changes.
Hi, I have a server at Hetzner and something strange happend. First, I installed FreeBSD 10.0-BETA3 (amd64) via their FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE rescue system, that's ok. I had to configure the network by using the em driver -> em0 interface. But suddenly, the network was lost. After an ACPI reboot, nothing. Going to the vKVM show me the system didn't detected em0 anymore but an nVidia

Behavior of jexec
Hi, I noticed two things when running jexec. I run FreeBSD 9.2-RC1 from binaries and jails 9.2-RC1 too. I log as root on the host (I havn't any other user). # 1. $HOME For a jail named "blog" with a "blog" user, which $HOME is at /home/blog, if I do: jexec -U blog blog tcsh My id is correct, but $HOME is still root. # 2. zpool labelclear destroys GPT data
When i use zpool labelclear, it wipes the whole disk including gpt data. So the whole disk is empty and i need to create the gpt partitions again. Is this supposed to work like this? The man page suggests that it only wipes the ZFS metadata. zpool labelclear [-f] device Removes ZFS label information from the specified device. The device must not be part of an active pool

group bunch of lines in a data.frame, an additional requirement
Thanks for pointing me out "aggregate", that works fine! There is one complication though: I have mixed types (numerical and character), So the matrix is of the form: A 1.0 200 ID1 A 3.0 800 ID1 A 2.0 200 ID1 B 0.5 20 ID2 B 0.9 50 ID2 C 5.0 70 ID1 One letter always has the same ID but one ID can be shared by many letters (like ID1) I just want to keep track of the ID, and get

Problems Converting from Cyrus to Dovecot (cyrus2dovecot)
Hi, No, I tried fetching over imapc too exactly as you suggested. In my case it was not from cyrus, but from CriticalPath. isync was finally able to do the job, preserving flags and doing UIDs mapping. The most boring part was generating proper config file for thousands of accounts. A working imapc/dsync would have been better. Emmanuel. Le 26/11/2015 15:24, Sami Ketola a ?crit : > Hi,

"Redundant audio data" header in speex payload
Hi, Has anybody some information on on the "Redundant audio data" header in the speex rtp payload? Is this header always present? Is its value always the same? Can it be modified through some speex_*_ctl function? Thanks, Emmanuel -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Emmanuel Wauters Tel : (+32) 11 30 13 30

What would be the recommend amount of memory for zfs across 6 drives on this setup? Also can 9.1 now boot to zfs from the installer? (no tricks for post install) Thanks

A particular shuffling on a vector
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can think of a straightforward way (without loops) to do the following shuffling: Let's imagine a vector: c(1,1,1,2,2,3,3,3) I would like to derive shuffled vectors __where the same digits are never separated__, although they can be at both ends (periodicity). So the following shuffled vectors are possible: c(2,2,1,1,1,3,3,3) c(2,1,1,1,3,3,3,2)

And I would like to get the p-value and confidence intervals associated with > res$par My second question deals with error message. I
