MinGW problem - unable to compile - config.log
Hi there! I've downloaded the MinGW shell, installed it as descripted in intall.txt, and also the gcc-core-3.4.2-20040916-1 and installed it. Then I've tried running ./configure, but this is what the process returns: Giacomo@NOME-0C20A03AFA /C/tinc-1.0.5 $ ./configure checking for a BSD-compatible install... /bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for

rpmbuild annoyance
I'm building a package (rasmol, if you must know) from an srpm. It's an FC20 pkg, nothing older, but the software itself hasn't changed. So... I try the build, and it fails, telling me: gcc: %__global_ldflags: No such file or directory make: *** [rasmol] Error 1 Now, this isn't a brand-new package, so I'm puzzled by the error. Is there supposed to be something I need to add to

Package Installation produces "gcc fails sanity check" error when installing RODBC error
Dear Friends, I haven't used R very much, but am hoping to use it more. I recently installed it again on my Linux machine and began to install a few packages, which I figure I will need. I am also new to this forum. I hope I am posting it in the right place. I am trying to install a few packages in R and am receiving error messages. Since the error messages are different for each install

Problems compiling PostgreSQL package from FC8 on CentOS 5
Dear CentOS list we are a small software company making mostly web driven GIS software. We started to simplify out sysadmin life making RPM packages of most of the GIS software stack. For a dependency issue we had to abandon the upstream 8.1 PostgreSQL and install at least a 8.2 version. Taking the package from Fedora 8 and rebuilding it for x86_64 went smoothly. Unfortunatly the same is

build postfix spec w/ mysql
hello list! I am attempting to build an rpm of postfix that includes support for mysql. I've done this before with earlier versions on postfix but I am staring at this spec file until my eyes bleed and I just don't see why when I build the spec with rpmbuild mysql support isn't there. After I install the rpm I have a look at the modules as such: ldd $(which postfix) | grep -i

Trying to build opensuse 11.0 64-bit rpm for nut-2.2.2
I am trying to build an rpm for nut-2.2.2 on 64 bit opensuse 11.0. 0. Packages previously built for opensuse 10.x have to be rebuilt since opensuse 11.0 now compresses package payloads using lzma, which according to the opensuse 11.0 release notes makes 10.x rpms unusable. 1. I downloaded nut-2.2.2.tar.gz 2. I recompressed as a bz2 as expected by rpmbuild 3. I extracted and copied

building on RHEL 5/CentOS 5
RHEL5 has autoconf 2.59 and automake 1.9.6. I've managed to build the whole Xapian family by reducing the requirement to 2.59/1.9.6 in configure.ac. Omega requires docdir which can be added by hand in docs/Makefile.am: docdir = ${datadir}/doc/${PACKAGE} if !MAINTAINER_NO_DOCS dist_doc_DATA = $(RSTHTML) endif All I've done is get these packages compiled - I haven't tested in any

build postfix rpm with mysql
hello list, I'm trying to build a postfix rpm that has mysql support included. I've found the line where I need to define mysql support but it seems that I am being tripped up by some build dependencies: [root at beta SPECS]# rpmbuild -ba postfix.spec error: Failed build dependencies: MySQL-shared is needed by postfix-2.9.1-1.rhel5.x86_64 MySQL-devel is needed by

Gateway question
Hi There is a Centos 7 up-to-date box with 2 interfaces, let's say 192.168.1.12 - enp2s0, 192.168.1.13 on enp3s0. Default gateway on enp2s0. The gateway is pfsense, IP is 192.168.1.1 with 2 WAN connections On the gateway the outgoing traffic is routed by source ip to different WAN, 192.168.1.12 to WAN1 and 192.168.1.13 to WAN2 On the centos box are set all the route and routing rules:
