[PATCH] qemu-traditional - ACPI vCPU hotplug fixes for Xen 4.3 (v2).
Please see the three patches that fix the ACPI AML and QEMU race. They have been Ack-ed by both George (for inclusion in Xen 4.3) and by Stefano. They should be candidates for back-port in older hypervisors. Konrad Rzeszutek Wilk (3): piix4acpi, xen, vcpu hotplug: Split the notification from the changes. piix4acpi, xen: Clarify that the qemu_set_irq calls just do an IRQ pulse.

hypothetical prediction after polr
Dear R-Help listers, I am trying to estimate an proportional odds logistic regression model (or ordered logistic regression) and then make predictions by supplying a hypothetical x vector. However, somehow this does not work. I guess I must have missed something here. I first used the polr function in the MASS package, and I create a data frame and supply it to the predict function (see below):

effect function in the effects package
Dear r-help listers, I am using effects to produce an effect plot after the proportional odds logistic regression model. There is no problem for me to estimate the model, but when it comes to the graphing, I was stuck. see the codes below: ############################################################################## myologit <- polr(factor(warm) ~ yr89 + male + white + age + ed + prst, +

preparing for 4.2.3 and 4.1.6
Aiming at a release some time in August, I''d like to cut RC1-s by Thursday next week (as I''ll be on a two week vacation starting Friday). Please indicate any bug fixes that so far may have been missed in the backports already done. A few fixes are currently stuck in master''s staging branch (or pending to make it there) - these don''t need to be named explicitly,

ACPI fixed event or General Purpose Event to HVM guest.
Has there been any work done on getting an ACPI fixed event or perhaps a general purpose event delivered to an HVM guest. Whereby, the HVM guests OSPM could consume the event and act accordingly. Or Perhaps better stated how would one go about passing an ACPI fixed event or general purpose event that was raised and consumed by dom0 and subsequently pass the event on to each of the HVM

[PATCH] Fix hvm vcpu hotplug bug
When hotplug hvm vcpu by ''xm vcpu-set'' command, if it add/remove many vcpus by 1 ''xm vcpu-set'' command, it has a bug that it cannot add/remove all vcpus that want to be added/removed. This patch is to fix the bug. It delays trigger sci until all xenstore cpu node status are watched. Signed-off-by: Liu, Jinsong <jinsong.liu@intel.com>

Billing pulses
Hello, I've discovered that in Italy ISDN lines can be programmed to generate a "billing pulse" every n seconds (it dipends from the pricebook). The pulse has these figures: frequency .................................................................... 12 kHz ? 1% level .......................................................................... 200 mVrms on 200

Discussion on time series analysis and the use and misuse of Differencing
How does the R module ARIMA account for unspecified deterministic structure such as seasonal pulses, level shifts, local time trends and regular pulses without needing to ask the user to intervene to specify this? I have attached a Makradakis paper which hammers Box-Jenkins approach to this problem of nonstationarity. I have also included a recent discussion from stackexchange which you might

1950's UK rotary dial phone
Folks, I've got one of those GPO 1950's rotary dial phones that I'm trying to get working in the UK. I've got pretty much everything working with my TDM400, the phone rings and I can receive calls but I cannot dial with the rotary dialer. I have set pulsedial=true or whatever the exact setting is and I can dial from the phone by lifting the receiver and tapping out the number on

Unicall + MFC/R2 line dropped immediately after connect
Hi, I am trying to set up an E1 line with CAS signaling using available unicall patches with libmfcr2 implementation. Inbound calls works well, I am able to get DNIS and ANI from incoming call, but I am still not able to make an outbound call with our local carrier. After tweaking of protocolvariant parameter in unicall.conf I was able to find proper values for inbound and outbound calls, but

Scaling Statistical
Short question: Is it possible to use statistical tests, like the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test, in functions with for-loops? If not, are there any alternative ways to scale measures? Detailed explanation: I am working with time-series, and I want to flag curves that are not stationary and which display pulses, trends, or level shifts. >df DATE ID VALUE2012-03-06 1

Run script action when Dahdi phone goes off-hook?
Hi, Long story short - I have an ancient Britsh Telecom phone attached to my Asterisk PBX via Dahdi. It works beautifully, receiving calls, and the call quality is excellent. However, dialling out is impossible, as Asterisk consistently mis-reads the number of pulses the dial sends (it could be a squiffy dial, I'm not sure). Not to mention the fact that, in today's modern "want

issue with Digium TDM410P
The TDM410P doesn't support 'hvac', only the obsolete TDM400P supports that option was for the old phones that have a neon light (or equivalent LED+ZENER ciruit). Are other phones off the TDM410P (other than the VTECH) working, or is the Vtech the only model with VMWI available to you. I'm not able to check at the moment, I have copied the asterisk-users list, someone else may

Celt allocation bugfix
In some conditions (sample rate, frame size, bytes per frame, audio data) the CELT allocator may run out of bits and attempt to place a negative number of pulses in a band. This causes an array underrun and other assorted nastyness. Patch attached. (It should also apply cleanly to 0.5.0 which is also impacted by this bug). -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was

Rotary phone on Asterisk
I'm trying to use a couple of old Western Electric type 500 phones (desk model, rotary dial). These phones work fine, as tested with telco lines (they dial, receiver/transmitter works fine, etc). I'm running Asterisk 1.6.2.11. I can't get them to dial through Asterisk. They are connected to a Rhino channel bank which is connected to Asterisk via a Sangnoma card (T1 with echo
