[RFC PATCH v01] Xen PVSCSI drivers for pvops xen/stable-2.6.32.x kernel
Hello,
http://pasik.reaktio.net/xen/patches/xen-pvscsi-drivers-linux-2.6.32.27-pvops-v01.diff
This is the first version of Xen PVSCSI drivers, both the scsiback backend and
scsifront frontend, ported from Novell SLES11SP1 2.6.32 Xenlinux kernel to
pvops xen/stable-2.6.32.x branch.
At the moment it''s *only* compile-tested with the latest xen/stable-2.6.32.x
git kernel as of today

Xen PVSCSI: status, issues and some tests
Hi, I am working as a system administrator at an internet platform
service provider, and I am currently seeking to re-new our Xen
virtualization infrastructure for which I am mostly responsible for.
Currently, we run Xen 3.4.2/3.4.3 on RHEL/CentOS 5.x (5.7) as Dom0 with
CentOS 5.x pv-guests.
Based on my experiments, I am currently looking into Xen 4.1.2 on
RHEL/CentOS 6.x (6.2), with a

Xen PVSCSI wiki page added
Hello,
I just added a XenPVSCSI wiki page:
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPVSCSI
Not very complete yet but it should have some good links
related to using SCSI passthru with Xen, for example for
tape drives or for NPIV.
Please contribute and add/edit/fix! :)

Re: pvusb drivers for pvops 2.6.32.x kernel
Hello,
Jeremy: See the included patch. If it''s OK it''d be nice
to get it into xen/stable-2.6.32.x branch.
Thanks Nathanael!

scsi passthrough in pvops kernel
pvscsi appears to be missing from the pvops kernel. Is there a specific
reason for this or has it just not been done yet?

RFC: xl and HVM usb devices
I''ve been looking into implementing functions to xl to allow
hot-plugging of USB devices into HVM domains, similar to the usb-add
and usb-del xm commands, and have run into a bit of a puzzle, to which
I''d like to have some other opinions. (Or perhaps, just writing this
e-mail will help me sort things out.)
So to begin with, here is what I''ve found.

centos 4.2 (32bit) app installed on (64 bit) box mising library
I have a centos 4.2 32bit app that when installed on centos 4.2 64 bit
box and try to run it I get "libxml2.so.2 not found".
however if I "rpm -qa | grep libxml2" it shows up just fine.
How can I get this app to run on the 64bit box (without recompiling yet).
The recompiling will come someday...
right now I just would like it to run.
Thanks

usbdevice = ''host:0925:1234''
But when i create my domU lsusb still doesn''t show anything at

How to enable remus support for jeremy's xen.git xen/stable-2.6.32.x
Hello guys,
First of all I need remus support for a Debian 6 system (kernel 2.6.32-5 : Xen-4.1.1). Debian-customized kernels don''t actually
support remus. There''s a patch here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=608988 that suggests adding the support
for upcomming releases of the kernel, yet only in the wishlist.
I have downloaded jeremy''s xen.git

pvSCSI question - can a gref describe more than one page?
Porting the pvSCSI backend driver to the pvops kernel is turning out to
be a bit harder than first thought, mostly because all the Linux
routines that might be useful are written with the assumption that they
would be passed a mapped buffer and they would then build an sg list out
of that. pvSCSI already has an sg list, and all the routines that it
makes use of have been deprecated since 2.6.18

Problem with patching kernel with PVUSB patch
Hello, I have a problem with patching kernel 2.6-2.6.32.
I'm trying to add PVUSB [1] support in Xen. According to [1] I should add a patch [2] to kernel. I was trying to do it with steps described in [3].
I had to make some changes in the patch file because in the meantime some other changes appeared. After my changes the patch file looks like [4].
When I try to execute "make -f
