using RBD with libvirt 0.9.13
I'm having some trouble creating KVM domains with RBD block devices using
virsh. I've managed to get virsh to define the domain, but it gives an error
when trying to start the domain:
error: Failed to start domain test0

problem with "transform" and "get" functions
Hello, I'm having a problem using the "transform" and "get" functions. I'm
probably making a dumb mistake, and I need help!
I start by making a small simulated dataset. I save the names of the
variables in "var.names." Without getting into the details of it, I have to
create a custom function to perform some statistics. As part of this, I
need to sequentially

environment variables in kickstart
I have been looking for environment variables for the %post section of
kickstart.
Namely if I start my kickstart command with "linux
ks=http://serverip/ks.cfg"
is there an environment variable that has serverip that I can use in the
%post section?
Also is there a way to pass a command line argument to the %post section
when running
kickstart command as the above

R and condor
Hello,
I would be extremely grateful if anyone is able to provide any (rather obscure) advice on using R with Condor. I think I'm following Xianhong Xie's instructions (R News 5(2) 13-15) correctly, but my job just stays held in the queue (for days / months). I've checked condor_status to make sure there are plenty of machines available, but can't see any way to attack the

throttle particular client ip
I know this will be trivial for most, but I am having trouble with getting
my scenario to work correctly. I want to ''tag'' and ''throttle'' the
bandwidth to and from a particular client on my lan side. Better yet, I
just want to throttle smtp traffic, per say, for that ip.

Vmware - Slightly off topic
Hi All,
What is the correct way to provide a CentOS 7 - WMware image for ESX ?
As an amateur to VMware - I thought - great I can get VMplayer and ESX
should be able to import my image... Wrong... I even went through the
trouble of "converting" to VMWare workstation and thinking ESX could import
that - Apparently still Wrong... I cannot for the life of me understand

R-alpha: "invisible" (yet again): a more problematic bug[let]
I think this is a more problematic buglet
in (implicit/explicit) ``invisible behavior'').
Try this (all versions of R from 0.49 to 0.60):
test0 <- function() c(1,2)
test <- function(two = FALSE) c(1, if(two) 2)
testR <- function(two = FALSE) return(c(1, if(two) 2))
test0()# 1 2 as it should

Implementing more than one asterisk instance in the same hardware machine?
Hi All;
Did anyone try to implement (installation and configuration and running) for more than one asterisk instance (two or three instances), where each asterisk instance to work on a difference IP than the other where the server already has more than one IP address.
We need to implement this situation because in case we need to do testing for any scenario of configuration, then other

Hello
I was testing HTB using IPerf TCP traffic and the results were very good.
Until I tried to add some UDP traffic the results were a little strange.
this is my setup

tc qdisc add dev eth1 handle 1:0 root htb default 2
tc class add dev eth1 parent 1:0 classid 1:1 htb rate 1mbit

Well, one is internal (phone) and the other is external (DT), doesn't matter
which way round.
