If your phones support PoE,
I have had huge success with Zyxel:

If you want to go even cheaper, I have successfully used these as well:

Pardon, this might be off-topic. I'm reading:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_switch
For a setup of ~5 agents, would I be wrong in thinking that a generic 16
port unmanaged switch would fit the bill?
The first model to come up for me in an Amazon search is:
http://support.netgear.com/product/fs116
Is this a reasonable choice? Would I be wrong in thinking that most any

RHCE Training
I am possibly going to be sent for my RHCE training.
Looking at https://www.redhat.com/courses/rh300_rhce_rapid_track_course_and_rhce_exam/details/
I am thinking the concepts do not look difficult at all, having a manual and instructor makes this look fairly easy actually.
The only thing that looks important to take outside of this would be rh253 if I wasn't interested in taking the

centos 6 cames with gcc 4.4.7, centos 7 uses 4.8.2. yum update should
get you the latest supported release.
what version of centos do you have? gcc 4.1 is fairly old (2006-2007)
if you need newer versions of gcc

ah, no, that’s not actually the reason. It is not a correct id, but it’s close enough (still a valid Windows id), there is a bug in the ovirt-engine import[1]
It’s a simple enough fix, but delivering it is a bit challenging. We can only do the first

IPMI in Libvirt
Greetings all,
I am looking for a solution to use IPMI (BMC) in with LibVirt (Virt-Manager). Actually there is a Customer behind this request as well.
Trying to be short: We are looking for a Solution in OpenStack Environment. Customer wants to have the entire environment running in Virt-Manager (probably for a P.O.C or tests purposes). So here is what he is trying to do: http://red.ht/1HfNn9r

Samba 3 domain to AD domain migration.
Good Morning Samba list,
I know I don't post here often (or.. maybe ever) but i've been watching
along for years.
We're in a situation where we have an aging samba 3 domain. It acts
like an old NT domain, samba folks should understand that. Its just
where the capabilities of samba3 landed us.
For many reasons we want to get off of this domain, and on to something
more modern, and

Your opinion about RHCSA certification
Hello to all,
I'm currently studying (and collecting notes here
https://github.com/fdicarlo/RHCSA_cs) for RHCSA. My plan is to RHCSA
-> RHCE and then RHCSS.
What I want to ask you is:
- What do you think about it?
- Did you find it useful?
- Do you have any advices?
Best regards,
Fabrizio

NYC Puppet Meetup
Hi All,
We are wanting to having a Puppet Meetup in NYC on February 3th, 2009,
6:30 PM. Place to be determined. Baring that my wife doesn''t give
birth by then (which would prevent me from making it) how does this
sound to everyone else?
Brian G.,
Can you rally up the troops and also invite people from other groups?
Also let''s have some specific topics to discuss.
