Making the video plugin + patched MPlayer work with other backends
Hi, I'm wondering how I can make my patched up mplayer work with other MPlayer frontends, such as mplayer-plugin, GMPlayer, SMPlayer and KMPlayer. When I play a video using mplayer normally with: mplayer video.ext, It detects the compiz video output and works fine, however when it is called from other players (AFAIK, it just creates a window then asks mplayer to display in it) with mplayer

Hi guys, I have an onboard Audigy2 ZS that is connected to a set of speakers. I use this generally to listen to music/movies etc. I also have a generic USB Headset that I use, generally for skype/teamspeak. fallen too far behind, removing
Hi, For some reason I see this in my logs: [2016-08-02 12:43:02] INFO source/send_to_listener Client 169 (127.0.0.1) has fallen too far behind, removing The more interesting is that it is the ffmpeg, that is listening to the source stream being removed. My setup is: Stream generator: DEVA TX, streaming 44,1 khz PCM (pcm16le) stream to icecast2 server Transcoding: VM with ffmpeg reading this

fallen too far behind, removing
Morning all, I set up IceCast several years ago on centos 6. seemed easy, now I am trying to install it on Centos 7. For the life of me, I cant do it, I have read several STEP by steps on how to configure, but I am pounding my head against the wall, I am a Windows IT guy, thus I am looking for a step by step detail way of doing it. All the examples I find, fail at some point or another. Any

Problem with WAVE_FORMAT_ADPCM sound files
Hi all, I recently managed to install "multimedia German dictionary", which I get with the local newspaper , under wine and it works OK. The problem it is when I try to use the most important feature for me - the pronunciation. When I try to listen to any word , no sound is played and wine outputs the following to the console: wodOpen unimplemented format: WAVE_FORMAT_ADPCM I rewieved

Ssoundblaster audigy and alsamixer
I have an interesting problem. I have no sound through the sound card, but I can use the onboard sound ok. The reason I have no sound is that the slider for "audigy analog/digital output jack" is missing in the gnome mixer. The label is there, and a mute box are there, but no sliders. When I bring up alsa mixer in the console, there is a box for a slider, but no slider.

[LLVMdev] Should more vector [zs]extloads be legal for X86 SSE4.1?
Hi Chandler, all, Why aren't the vector [zs]extloads introduced by SSE4.1/AVX2 declared legal? Is it a simple oversight, or did I miss a deeper reason? While cleaning up PMOV*X patterns, I stumbled upon this braindead testcase: %0 = load <8 x i8>* %src, align 1 %1 = zext <8 x i8> %0 to <8 x i16> turning into: pmovzxbw (%rsi), %xmm0

[PATCH 0/2] nv50, nvc0: fix weirdo zs formats and their blits
There were reports of issues with gallium-nine. It's unclear whether mesa/st uses these, the patches did not produce any piglit changes. However they seem right... [PATCH v8 05/18] dmaengine: st_fdma: Add STMicroelectronics FDMA engine driver support
This patch adds support for the Flexible Direct Memory Access (FDMA) core driver. The FDMA is a slim core CPU with a dedicated firmware. It is a general purpose DMA controller capable of supporting 16 independent DMA channels. Data moves maybe from memory to memory or between memory and paced latency critical real time targets and it is found on al STi based chipsets. Signed-off-by: Ludovic Barre
