The issue about code coverage for libguestfs
Hi, I tried to do code coverage testing for libguestfs with gcov. The steps are shown as follows: 1. Download and install the source package(libguestfs-1.36.5-1.el7.src.rpm) 2. Modify libguestfs.spec file #diff -u libguestfs.spec libguestfs.spec.modify --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- libguestfs.spec 2017-08-29 02:44:35.623751541 -0400

[PATCH 1/2] tools: Link OCaml programs with -runtime-variant _pic if available.
OCaml has a small runtime which is statically linked into the virt tools (providing things like GC and primitives). Since OCaml 4.03 it has been possible to select variants of this runtime, one of which is compiled with -fPIC, using ‘ocamlopt -runtime-variant _pic’. This has performance implications on i686, but is relatively free on other architectures. Since it (in theory) adds to the

[PATCH 1/2] build: factor out the OCaml link.sh scripts
Create a single ocaml-link.sh script, which supports a -cclib parameter so it can be used instead of the per-project link.sh scripts. As result, the libraries for each OCaml application can be moved back to each Makefile.am. --- .gitignore | 7 ------- builder/Makefile.am | 14 ++++++++++++-- builder/link.sh.in | 22 ---------------------- configure.ac | 14

[PATCH hivex] ocaml: Link the C bindings with LDFLAGS (RHBZ#1548536).
Use the ocamlmklib -ldopt flag to pass the general $(LDFLAGS) when calling gcc to link dllmlhivex.so. We were already passing $(CFLAGS) when building the object file. When building using Fedora's standard hardening flags this gives: ocamlmklib -o mlhivex hivex_c.o hivex.cmo \ -verbose -ldopt '-Wl,-z,relro -specs=/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/redhat-hardened-ld' \ -L../lib/.libs

[CC-ing to libguestfs mailing list] You might want to try building from the tarballs. You won't need OCaml to build from the tarballs (although that is available for Mac OS X, see: http://godi.camlcity.org/). If you want to see how we build for Fedora, see: http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/devel/libguestfs/libguestfs.spec?view=markup If building from git, make sure you start with the
