SIP invite timeouts : how is someone sending invites from our server ??
I've been getting a lot of timeouts on non-critical invite transactions. I turned on sip debug. They were the result of SIP invites like this: Retransmitting #10 (NAT) to 185.107.94.10:13057: SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 215.45.145.211:5060;branch=z9hG4bK-524287-1---zg4cfkl50hpwpv4p;received=185.107.94.10;rport=13057 From:

Bringing a laptop to a Samba Network
I have a little home network, with a wireless router. The main box on the ntwk runs RedHat 9.0 and Samba 2.2.7a. I have a Win2K laptop provided to me by my employer with all the typical corporate security constraints. I can take the laptop home and access the internet from it through the laptops secondary wireless router card and my wireless router. What I'd like to be able to do

asterisk T100P to Merlin Legend
Management just approved purchase of a Digium T100P and a T1 card for our Merlin Legend Switch. I will appreciate comments from anyone performing this installation before: - Which T1 card did you use in the Merlin Legend? - Did you require any special interface? (CSU/DSU, etc) - Any items to watch during installation. Also we will need to remove one of our old analog Trunk cards to accomodate

Cisco's description of echo
We are having trouble with an installation that is getting a lot of echo on some calls. The installation is all SIP phones and they have a VoIP provider. When we call through the voip provider and into another of their customers (voip throughout) there is no echo problem. If we call in their landline, through the TDM400's FXO to one of the SIP phones, there is no echo problem. Sometimes

partedmagic connecting to a comcast address
