6.3 missing updates and packages
Hi, The fact that apparently the last tigervnc update from upstream was missed triggered me to check for missing updates and packages in 6.3. Here are my results. Sorry for any false positives that might have crept in, but note that some of the 6_x updates actually are updates and not a parsing error. And perhaps an occasional false positive due to having to compare upstream SRPMS vs downstream

Translation of centos-indexhtml package
Dear translators! The centos-indexhtml package is getting a new design and I am wondering if: would you be interested in providing translations for it? This package provides the web browser's default page with an introduction about CentOS Stream 9, taken from the wiki and web site. Take a look at the following project: https://gitlab.com/areguera/centos-indexhtml To contribute, you need to

License question: centos-indexhtml
Hi, and sorry to bug you all for something so simple: The project in which I am working would like to use CentOS, but it has very strict requirements regarding licensing. The item that I have had trouble with is centos-indexhtml-6-1.el6.centos.src.rpm. Within it, the License is only identified as 'distributable', which is not precise enough. Is there any way of contacting the author of

HowTos/MigrationGuide adding RHEL-7 -> CentOS-7 migration.
Hi, could I get a permission to add to HowTos/MigrationGuide a guide for conversion of RHEL 7 to CentOS 7? For personal reasons, I had to switch my machines from RHEL to CentOS, and I think it would be helpful to have it there. If it is OK to have migration guides for lower versions of RHEL/CentOS, why not 7? OK, here we go: URLBASE=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/os/x86_64/Packages

Dovecot still failing with RC10...
Hello, I mentioned back with version RC8 that dovecot was having an issue with the first login working, but all subsequent attempts failing with the error message: "Error: Maximum number of mail processes exceeded" in the dovecot log file. This is with an unchanged working conf file from RC7 (which, aside from comments, nothing has changed config-wise in the conf from version RC7).

Are these packages still available for RHEL6/CentOS6? If so then where does one get them? If not then have they been replaced with something else? Release Note Translation
Hey, if you haven't started already, now would be a good time to begin translating the release notes which are already on the wiki. We're going to begin QA tomorrow and will finish the release notes from our findings in QA. So if you now begin and watch the release notes page, you'll just have to put the changes into the already translated stuff. Thanks in advance (and for the work

Artwork localization
Hello everyone, What do you think about having localized the following CentOS components: - Rolling notes in CentOS installer. These images are shown during the installation process, once the configuration is done and you are waiting for packages to be installed. Rolling notes are a great place to promote CentOS. If they are not localized, they are shown in English language by default.

[PATCH 0/3] Allow syscalls for openssl engines
This patchset allow syscalls (flock, ipc, getuid, geteuid and ioctl), so openssl engines, e.g. OpenSSL-ibmca and OpenSSL-ibmpkcs11, can work and communicate with the crypto cards during ssh login. 1. The flock and ipc are allowed only for s390 architecture. They are needed for openCryptoki project (PKCS#11 implementation), as the ibmpkcs11 engine makes use of openCryptoki. For more information,

Trimming the fat out of a Centos 4.4 Installation
Hi, just to avoid re-inventing the wheel, is there any document that can help me reduce even further a "minimum" installation of Centos 4.4 (BTW can you say 600mb is minimum)? I am in the process of creating a small Centos-4.4-based Asterisk box and I need to boot it from a CF card. Deleting useless packages will help me do what i want. Example: even a minimum install of Centos 4.4 (or
