yum cannot find bittorent rpm at dag
I am trying to get the x86_64 isos of CentOS-5.2. I wish to use bittorrent. The last time that I did this I required the bittorent package from Dag's repository. I have configured /etc/yum.repos.d/DagWieers.repo thus: [dag] name=Dag Wieers RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux #Also see URL http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

php 5.2
Hi, I was asking about php 5.2 because I would like to use this program with these requirements: http://www.magentocommerce.com/system-requirements This ecommerce store is built with the zend framework and requires php 5.2. Mcrypt is not in the centos mirrors either. I did manage to get this beta ecommerce store installed on php 5.1.6-12 by removing the mycript line in the install xml file and

I have the following /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo (mind the line-wraps): [base] name=CentOS-$releasever - Base mirrorlist=http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch= $basearch&repo=os #baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/$releasever/os/$basearch/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-5

rpmforge checksum errors
Almost each time I want to use rpmforge with yum I get a "Metadata file does not meet checksum" error. Yum usually has to try at least five mirrors before it succeeds, sometimes it doesn't find a mirror with a useable file. This is with CentOS 5. Is this a known issue with rpmforge lately? virt-install behind proxy (Xen Newbie)
How does one install a new vm behind a proxy? When I start the virt-install routine Xen seems to be unable to load information from the ftp/http sources. As a consequence, I tried to install from the DVD-iso as well as the file system. Xen then prompts "What type of media contains the packages to be installed?". After choosing ''hard drive'' it prompts that I do not seem
