Quota Calculation seems to be wrong when using dsync
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Recently I encountered odd quota increases when using 'dsync' with the latest and greatest: 2.0.8 (89936539e3b8). Say you got something in place like this: plugin { quota = dict:user::file:%h/mdbox/dovecot-quota quota_rule = *:storage=1GB quota_rule2 = Trash:storage=+10%% } Kick off a manual backup: $ dsync -u user at domain.tld

Problem with MySQL virtual users and dsync
Hello, I am using dovecot 2.2.5 on FreeBSD and I am having trouble using dsync with SSH. Everything on the server seems to be working fine (I can login, receive and send emails etc). I am using SQL for both passdb, and userdb and this seems to work fine. The 'doveadm user' command returns all the correct information for the user. I am getting the following errors in my log file:

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hallo, when I do an "samba-tool gpo list username" I get an "faild access check on OU=name,......". But not if I do a "samba-tool gpo listall" then everything is ok. Is this normal? If I take "administrator" as username I didn't get this message. Just got defrauded - how do I block calls which contain a dash (RegEx noob question)
Hi list, I'm using Asterisk2Billing (v2.0.16) and it appears to have an annoying bug. When there are rates for e.g. 44 (UK landline) and 44870 (UK premium) and a fraudster manages to somehow dial 44-870 instead of 44870 the rate for 44 will match, not the one for 44870. So, I would like to block all calls on a dialplan level that contain a dash. -44, 4-4, 44-, 44---, -, ---, just

Dsync fails on second sync for folders with dot in the name
I'm in the processes of running our first dsync backup of all users (from maildir to mdbox on remote server), and one problem I'm hitting that dsync will work fine on first run for some users, and then reliably fail whenever I try a new run: $ sudo dsync -u janfrode at example.net backup ssh -q mailbackup at repo1.example.net dsync -u janfrode at example.net $ sudo dsync -u janfrode

So if a Dovecot process was leaking memory, it wasn't being killed by kernel. Now that this enforcing is done, some installations will probably

Dsync Errors
Greetings, I've seen something like this in another thread, about a month ago, but we're running into this error pretty frequently when we run dsync backup. Error: Raw backtrace: /usr/lib64/dovecot/libdovecot.so.0 [0x39ccc5f1c0] -> /usr/lib64/dovecot/libdovecot.so.0(default_fatal_handler+0x35) [0x39ccc5f2a5] -> /usr/lib64/dovecot/libdovecot.so.0 [0x39ccc5ebb3] ->

dsync inbox conversion problem (mbox -> mdbox)
Hi, We are trying to convert all mbox mail on our systems to mdbox using dsync, in order to be able to use email sub-folders in Thunderbird. Everything works fine for non-inbox folders, however the inbox folders are not getting converted. We used: *dsync -v convert mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u* *dovecot --version* 2.0.beta6 (3156315704ef) (shipping with RHEL6/SL6) *dovecot -n* #

Sorry, I'll gzip/attach next time. I tried pollonly and made sure no processes were hanging out. While everything comes up and seems to run happy, I still get log messages every couple of seconds, and "upsc eaton" gives me one of two messages: Error: Driver not connected ups.status: WAIT Is this actually functional? Usually I don't consider NUT operational until upsc works

Hi, Thank you for taking a look at this. This is 13.10. I realize Saucy is no longer supported. This system is slated for replacement, but in the meantime I'm responsible for it. The repo version of nut was 2.6.4-2.3ubuntu2. Installing it was useful as it gave me the nut user and group. The compiled version errors out whether or not the repo version is installed. I just did strace.

SIP/IAX guest access?

Don't use .local
During the Christmas holiday I created a AD DC & a MEMBER server (both on Debian 7.7.0) with these scripts (https://secure.bazuin.nl/scripts/) and thank you, L.P.H. van Belle. However, I have created them with a *.local TLD (that now I need to change.) I will need to adjust my hostname files, need to re-configure the kerberos install and of course Bind9. The hostname files I know how to

How are user and group SID's generated?
Greetings, Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I've been searching for over a week and cannot find information on how Samba generates SID's from Unix UID's and GID's. I keep running into situations where after adding a new user to my CentOS server all other users are suddenly prevented from accessing shares that have a group ACL assigned. I finally figured out that
