Two Way ANOVA
Hi, I am using the: pcf.aov<-aov(meas~op+part, data=pcf.ex2), command to perform a two way ANOVA. When I save the: sumpcf<- summary.aov(pcf.aov), result of the summary.aov command in a variable I need to access the individual pieces of information in the summary. The summary appears to be a list and I am having a hard time finding a way to get at the information in the summary.

Burn Out
I think that the time has come for me to back off a bit from my involvement with Shorewall. I just don''t have enough cycles (or energy) to keep up the pace of the last several months. As a consequence, I''m going to do the following: 1. I''m going to stop personally supporting the entry level tools (samples and quick start guide). These tools are a source of constant

Maple, MathCad, Greek letters (was: Greek letters)
Hi. I was having trouble getting Greek letters and mathematical symbols in maple under wine, and a search turned up a few messages suggesting others have the same problem. In particular, Thomas Koenig wrote... http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-users/2001/04/0028.html > I wrote: > > >I have tried several applications which use Greek letters, such as > >Maple V R5 and

Specific Font with wine
Hi ! I run Wine 20050211 on RedHat 9. I would like run an application which use 4 specific fonts (.FON under windows). I read the manual (winehq.org/site/docs/wine-user/config-fonts-main) and follow the instructions. But it seems not working ... 1. I convert .fon files to .bdf and to .pcf. I moved the .pcf files to /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc. I'm not sure here to have correct files because

Re: Sonar ??

The newest versions won't let it work. > Question is whether this > program is going backwards in some areas. That's a good question. Lately, a lot of stuff in Wine has been losing compatibility; I don't know if that's because

Converting Win fon-fonts to linux pcf fonts
Hi, I tried to convert win fon fonts to linux pcf fonts using fnt2bdf as it is described in the wine documentation. On some fonts fnt2bdf said rthat there is no charset set information in the fon file so that the -c option has to be used. But what charset option should be used for such fonts? fnt2bdf's help does print out a example where -c winsys is used, but never prints out all

[ANNOUNCE] mkfontscale 1.0.5
This version fixes a long-standing bug in mkfontdir that would cause both PCF and BDF variants of a font to be included into the fonts.dir file under some circumstances. It also fixes the handling of OpenType/CFF fonts with embedded bitmaps, which will no longer be mistaken for bitmap fonts. Julien Cristau (1): Bump to 1.0.5 Juliusz Chroboczek (5): Fix typo in mkfontscale.c.

Using .fon files with wine's native font rendering
Hi, I need to use a custom .fon bitmap font under Wine, but the only way I can get it to work (having converted it to a .pcf according to the docs) is to use X11 font rendering - ie. removing all the TTFs from my pseudo-c:\windows\fonts directory. I've tried things like putting the .fon file (and the converted .pcf files) into the fonts directory, but it's not seen by Wine. Is there a

[ANNOUNCE] bdftopcf 1.1
This release imports the libXfont 1.x BDF-reading and PCF-writing code, as this program is the only known user of that code and libXfont 1.x is otherwise unmaintained. No functional difference should be apparent, this is just another step towards eliminating the old version of libXfont from the world. Adam Jackson (3): Import libXfont's BDF-to-PCF code Import more libXfont 1.x

How to detect the spatial point pattern with Thomas process based on pcf
Hi all, I am using "spatstat" to investigate the spatial structure of some plant populations, but I have no idea about detecting the spatial point pattern with Thomas process based on pcf. Additionally, generating simulation envelope using this null model is another problem for me. I am not very familiar with R, so I hope anyone have any experience with this work can give me any

More mount_smbfs
Thanks to Will Saxon I'm finally able to mount Samba shares on my 5.1-R box using the command mount_smbfs -I 129.197.36.34 -W acct01 //bfosdick@129.197.36.34/net-11 /sp/net-11 which then prompts me for my password. So now the question is...how do I put this in /etc/fstab? What do I do about the password?

SIP Peering--call terminated prematurely
I am attempting to establish SIP peering between Asterisk and an AltiGen soft PBX. This is my first experience with SIP peering. I can successfully make both inbound and outbound calls to/from a softphone on the AltiGen system (network access is provided by a PRI on the Asterisk system), but they are disconnected unexpectedly. The attachment is a redirect of the Asterisk CLI during a call that
