File/folder permission issues in 2.1.3
Hi,
I figured out that Dovecot does not honer secondary groups with auth/auth-worker (??), if doing LDAP/TLS stuff. I had to use file system acls to add the user "vmail" to /etc/ssl/private and to the corresponding key file:
doveconf -n
# 2.1.3: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 2.6.32-40-generic-pae i686 Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS

Shared mailboxes not shown or accessible
Dear All,
I'm trying (and failing) to implement a shared mailbox folder. My goal
is to share the inbox of a user 'invoices' to a test user 'rubbish'.
My ACLs appear to be correct:
# doveadm acl get -u invoices inbox

read write write-deleted write-seen

SPECIAL-USE and Outlook folders
Hi,
in the recent version of Outlook seem impossible to remap the Sent (but
also Drafts) folders in order to show as the localized name.
I have enabled the "special_use" in 10-mailbox.conf but still is not
working:
namespace inbox {
? inbox = yes
? location =
? mailbox Drafts {
??? auto = subscribe
??? special_use = \Drafts
? }
? mailbox Sent {
??? auto = subscribe

outlook hangs using TLS
Hello
I am using dovecot 2.2.10 on CentOS 7
Any Outlook versions (2007, 2010, 2013...) hang if I tried to use TLS,
it works if I switch in client TLS to SSL. Thunderbird works perfect
both scenarios
Please find debug log

Outlook 2019 and IMAP
Hi,
We've just upgraded a few of our desktops to use Outlook 2019, and the
configuration is different from previous versions. There doesn't appear to
be any ability to specify a username in addition to the user's email
address.
The username is different than the username specified in the email address.
I had read about setting auth_username_format, but the user login name is

mail shown throught outlook, shows todays date
Hi all
I seem to be sitting with an interesting situation where by I need to copy mail from Exchange to dovecot (Maildir)
I used a mixture of solution (Moz Thunderbird, fetchmail and outlook) to copy and test the mail.
The interesting thing is, once I have some mail on the dovecot, the date displayed on Mozilla is correct, but the mail shown throught outlook, shows todays date (thats for all

but in most cases problems on windows are based
on firewall/proxies either local or at the gateway, sometimes with other
net issuses
local firewall may included in antivirus solutions, have you checked this ?
have you tried thunderbird on the same machine ?

Emails in Public folders aren't showing up in Outlook
Hi,
I've inherited our Devocot setup from someone else & don't know much
about it.
I can view our Public email folders fine in Thunderbird, but when I try
it with Outlook 2013, I can see the folder structure fine, but when I
click on a folder it doesn't show any emails.
Here's a screen shot of Outlook: https://imgur.com/CHIDJOr

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-video-amdgpu 1.0.0
This is the initial release of the xf86-video-amdgpu driver.
It was forked from the xf86-video-ati radeon driver and modified to
support the amdgpu kernel driver via libdrm_amdgpu, and by extension
the latest AMD GPU families Tonga, Carrizo, Iceland, Fiji and Stoney.
Some functionality was removed because it's not relevant for the GPUs
supported by the amdgpu kernel driver, but other than

Hi All!
I realized that I have only e-mails from last 13 days. I see that I have
lots more in the cur folder inside my Maildir folder.
The problem is that I cannot see them.

Mailboxes not showing up in MS Outlook
Sat, 19 Jul 2014 15:03:03 -0400
I am not sure exactly where the problem is here. I am using a sieve script
that sorts various incoming messages into their own mailbox. MS Outlook does
not show those folders if they are not directly under INBOX.
EXAMPLE:
drwx------ 31 vmail vmail 1.0K 2014-07-19 14:46:55 EDT ./
drwx------ 3 vmail vmail 512B 2014-07-02 13:52:03 EDT ../
