Help tracing WINE funcion..
Hi all, I need some assistance.. I'm trying to trace a problem. The quick description is when I run the Visual FoxPro 5 development environment, and I click in a 'edit' window (like when you bring your program up, to edit it) the screen freezes. when I ran wine --debugmsg +win vfp.exe, my last line of trace is: trace:win:EVENT_Capture (0x20021) So I saw that SetCapure() called

Modifying macro names generated by dtrace -h
I''d like to prepend TRACE_ to the macro names generated by dtrace -h. For example, change POSTGRESQL_LWLOCK_ACQUIRE(arg0, arg1) to TRACE_POSTGRESQL_LWLOCK_ACQUIRE(arg0, arg1) and still keep postgresql as the provider name. The reason for doing this is to make it clear that the macros are used for (D)tracing. In this particular case, without TRACE_, it appears like the macro is used

attaching the debugger to functional test.
People, I''m trying to run the ruby debugger against a Test::Unit::TestCase class which is a parent of a Rails class. I started my study with a simple script: # # bikle_test.rb # require ''test/unit'' class BikleTest < Test::Unit::TestCase def setup @string10 = "hello" end def test10 assert_equal @string10, "hello" end end The

ROracle 0.5-0 package update
An update to the ROracle package is now in CRAN. Version 0.5-0 * This version has an experimental dynamic SQL binding to data frames. SQL statements can be "prepared" (parsed and cached for improved performance), and columns of data frames bound to them for automatic data transfer). For details see the help() for "Oracle", "dbPrepareStatement" and

Updated Patch to chan_agent.c for PREACKANNOUNCE
First, many thanks to Greg Boehnlein for his patch to chan_agent.c for adding a "preackannounce" option. I am running CVS HEAD from 2005/07/31, and the patch failed in a few hunks, since the code was refactored to add in some CASE statements where there were compound if statements before. Anyway, I have successfully updated the patch to work against head as of 3 weeks ago, and would

trouble with active record and sqlite
I am getting an error that I can''t figure out. I have a class called Test with 3 fields, id, x, and y. When I do Test.new(''x''=>1, ''y''=>2).save, I get an error saying that id (my ''not null primary key'') can''t be null. But isn''t active record supposed to deal with setting that for me? Here''s the code

Tracebacks with tryCatch() and withCallingHandlers()?
When batch processing analysis, I use tryCatch() for failure handling and to prevent unwanted interrupts. I write detailed progress to log file and conditions (warnings and errors) are written to the same log file immediately by using withCallingHandlers(..., condition=function(c) cat(c, file=logFile)). However, I would also like to write the call stack to the log file to further simplify
